You must be referring to the photo where the 65-year-old woman beats me over the finish line. I do have an excuse. I had a sinus infection. I might have inched her out if I had felt better.

And poor Webmistress, the pic of the older lady finishing first.  I don't think I'll EVER forget that.  I wanted to hug you right then! LOL Still, although I'm younger, you could kick my butt in a marathon!!

They are marquise ears - that is sooo cute!!

Thanks  - mine is a 'foxy' - miniature fox terrier - an Australian breed as well.  They were working dogs traditionally - getting rabbits and mice and down small holes.  Foxy's have saved the lives of countless children and adults by killing snakes....although they usually give their lives in the process.  I can't say enough good stuff about this breed - active and loving, with very big hearts!!

My first dog was called Ruby, and she was a foxy too.....she died last year, but she lives on in diamond forum land!!

Oh my!

So.....I dont quite know how to add a 'thread'  yet......but,  my name is Amanda.  I am a stay at home Mom to my adorable (almost 1 yr old!) son,  Liam Takoda.

Recently engaged to my high school sweetheart,  Kelly.  I was a horticulture student prior to my pregnancy,  and plan on returning when Liam is in preschool.  (Which makes me a COMPLETE PLANT FREAK!  Oh my!)  I am an artist,  a photographer,  a lover of reggae (and ALL positive music!),  and DBL's light yellow diamonds!!!!  Tee hee!  (Oh my indeed!)

I am also mother to an 8 year old pitbull named Tyson.   As well as two kitties.  (No worries,  Tyson and the kitties....are BEST friends!)   I will post pics of them,  too! 

Well....off I go............hope you all have a truly LOVELY day!
