As I have learned before, it is quite dangerous to let too much time go by before logging on........not only have I missed a pile of activity, but I discovered you guys have a new meeting place!  I have REALLY got to pay better attention.

I have a new ID, BunnyB.  Rocky (DH) calls me Bunny and I would have used it before if I had known I was going to stay!

Glad to see the familiar names and am also happy to see some new ones.

I, too, am a diamond addict.  Started out life as simply a sparkly addict.  Glitter made me happy until about the age of 8.  Then I graduated to beads, became frustrated that they didn't sparkle enough, and hung in with rhinestones (various colors) until at about 14, when I was downtown with my Mom in a snotty jewelry store, and saw an "all the way around" graduated diamond necklace.  It was the most fantastic thing I had ever seen.  I've never looked back!!

I've been doing business with David and Marc since 2003.  They have taken all the fear out of buying significant diamonds so all that is left is the FUN!!

So, here's to my continuing to give un-asked for advice, and to live vicariously through the spending of everyone else's money.

Amy, I am glad to have found this too!  I thought I was seeing things.  I still might be wondering what happened at the other site (was everyone on vacation simultaneously? ) except I was looking at the baby blue for the zillionth time, and ACCIDENTALLY saw the word forum.

To answer your question, the teensy baby blue is still about two weeks out.  I've been a grown up about this long enough now.  I'm considering some immature behavior now. 

YIPPEE!!!  I guess I can be an adult for a little while longer....

BRILLIANT!!!  So so so happy that you are here, Alyson!  That is just great!  You made some mighty fine points in your intro - I couldn't have said better myself!

As you can tell, we're all looking forward to seeing your baby blue on your pink......although it is bound to cause most of us to consider doing the same!  As Ronda said, "Let the spending begin!

And, again, we can trust David to supply us with step cuts that are unsurpassed!!!!  And, yes, the baguettes have been chosen for the baby blue but he hasn't told me what he chose.  I wasn't sure if they should be extra white, or what.  Since the blue has a tinge of yellow, I would think warmer whites would not set the stone off as much as a whiter color.

But, this all has to do with how saturated the blue is.  If there is enough color, it probably won't make a huge difference anyway!!  This will be a learning experience for sure.

Oh Alsyon, you have to have more pics of your baby right? Have you taken more recently? I would LOVE to see more pics of your ring!!!

This has been a VEEERRRRYYYY long labor!!!

 

It's going to be a very sparkly Thursday this week!  I can't wait to see the finished prodcut Alyson!  I'm so glad that the baguettes were able to work out.

Another reason for everyone to move to CA!!!!!  It was 66 and sunny yesterday!!!
