Some of your probably already know me from the other forum. David of Diamonds By Lauren told me about this forum he'd created, so I took a look at it and joined. I live in Corvallis, Oregon and I'm a GIA student who interned at a jewelry store here from about April 2002 till October 2004 (the store closed and moved to California). I'm currently working on the Gem Identification course, and I already finished Diamonds & Diamond Grading, Colored Stones, and all the "essentials" courses. I have a website on the topic of famous diamonds, there's a link in my profile. I love colored diamonds, especially exotic and antique cuts. Note the Fancy Intense Green in my avatar icon

Hi, I'm new here also.  I never thought of loving colored diamonds, but, WOW, after looking at some rings on here, now I'm crazy about YELLOWS! icon_sunny wow2 icon_sunny toothy4  I don't know if this is a good thing or not,  I'm just now finally satistied with my e-ring!  I always seem to end up finding things I like better!  I look forward to you and everyone else sharing all those colored stones, as well as the colorless ones!   4

It bears mentioning that Green ( pure green ) diamonds are as rare as Blue diamonds......if not more so.
