Hi guys,

I just registered but I am a long-time lurker. I recently bought the most gorgeous ring ever from David - R3206

http://rockdiamond.c...09e0a31f51a93e2df431

and I wanted to share some photos. It is simply perfect for me as I have a bit of an in-yer-face personality  Grin

I am so thrilled  Kiss She has been named Pink Panda   bliss

This is my first but definitely not my last DBL purchase. It was awesome doing business with David  Smiley

Thank you all  Smiley I have admired your gems for a long time and I'm glad you liked Pink Panda. I've been married a really long time but I never had an engagement ring. I just wear a gold wedding band. This may seem like a weird thing to say on a diamond forum but I kinda hate colorless diamonds  Roll Eyes Don't yell at me but I never understood the point of a solitaire or anything like that. I just wanted something really rich and vivid, saturated with color but sparkly. Well, that's a tall order  Undecided so I was thrilled when I discovered this hot pink critter  Heart Heart Heart

So I bought this one as an 'engagement ring' although I probably won't wear it daily (too paranoid). I am in lurve! YAYYYYYY!

Welcome, Flamboyant.  I admired that ring when I first saw it, but boy, she sure does look pretty on.  What a beautiful sapphire she is, so vivid and clear.  Jewelry is meant to be WORN, and she's a durable stone and her setting is strong.  Just make sure you insure her.

PS - LOVE the doggie pic. Heart

On second thought, all the pics are great, but the doggie one tops them all.  Love the contrast with the dark fur, it really makes the pink pop.

Welcome!!!  I love that ring... so pink and vibrant.  You are so not alone in not appreciating colorless diamonds as much.  I prefer them for accent stones or things like earrings.  I am surprising myself by wanting one in the future, but it won't be a big stone.  I guess you could say I like them only in small quantities.

Anyway I am so glad you posted.  That is a fantastic ring!

I'm sorry that you are worry about wearing it too much...but it's too lovely of an ER to not wear.  IMO, the sapphire is being protected by the halo and insuring will give you loads of peace...I hope you enjoy wearing it everyday! Smiley

Hey, Flamboyant.  Welcome to the family!  Always great to have a person pop out of lurkdom!  mixed-smiley-044

And what a way to join the party!  That ring is too SWEET!!  (BTW I think you have elegant hands so that just makes the Pink Panda stand out even more.)

Wear her in good health and happiness!  bliss

I'm late to the party, but WOAH! That ring is STUNNING on your hand.

It's perfect on you (and I love the doggie photo. So cute). Wear it in good health, and I hope you enjoy it.

I agree with insurance if you are worried.  I have a few pieces insured.  Just the ones I worry the most about and would be less likely to replace if something happened.  Sapphires are pretty strong stones and with that halo around it should be safe.  Wear that pretty ring and enjoy it!!!

I don't know why, but that ring never really caught my attention.  But now that you're wearing it, I find it simply stunning!  The color is amazing, vivid and glowing, and the setting looks spectacular on your finger.  Great choice!
