Natural Green Diamonds are extremely Rare.
Personally I love when they are like this one- and show a lot of blue. The Medium Blue Fluorescence helps in this regard.

It's extremely common for a bit of the raw "skin" of the rough diamond to be left on the stone- like this Fancy Grayish Green:
This sometimes is necessary for color retention- and also oddly enough, for verification
GIA needs to see a diamond during the cutting process to grant the "NATURAL" Designation, as this diamond achieves.
Remarkable that this stone does so with no rough skin left on the stone.
Cool as that is, it often messes with the sparkle of the overall diamond.
