Yay for Baby bloo too!  So tell me Squigs, when "they" say it'll be done tomorrow...does that  mean on Saturday, we can start chasing down all the Brown trucks in the neighborhood ?   :animal-smiley-037:

I just got word from David this evening, so I have a feeling we'll wait until Tuesday to get it.  I imagine Saturday deliveries charge more and I'm okay with Tuesday as this got done quicker than I hoped.  I want David to get some great photos for the site before he ships it too - I think it would be nice to have pictures of loose stones set by the clients so others can get inspiration from pieces we create.

I'm in a rush, but not in a rush at the same time.

Of course I'm dead tired right now so the attitude might change with sleep ;)

You guys have me cracking up!!!
I'm STILL happy to have "Prometheus" sitting in D's safe, until I take my next trip to NYC to look it over.........by then, I should be ready to start on the next project. In my head, that's better than D sending it here, finding it needs tweaking, and sending it back to D.

Am I just weird or something? I'm about to get a complex here, since I'm not hopping around, "Big-Brown-trucking" it.................... :-\
I guess since I don't need my necklace til November, its a toss up between  it just sitting in D's safe, or sitting in mine..................

Do I need to rub on someone to catch the right 'bug'??

I have a pair of earrings (or rather, DW does, but she doesn't know she does) sitting in D's safe since October last year... so don't worry.

I think it would depend for me what he had.  This ring?  No way could I let it stay that long.  Some different earrings I've gotten throughout the years, I probably could leave those longer.

When I see pictures of this one, I will be sure to post :)

I dunno, Rexelle.  Seems like, if you are part of the population where a trip to NYC is difficult to arrange, the bug hits harder.  If you visit semi-regularly or whenever you like, your options are wider and priorities a bit different.  I'd be a bit more laid-back on the actual receipt of a project if I knew I'd be visiting within a year.  As you noted, it's easier and more effective to tweek face to face, and I'm not going to address VAT tax issues.

Yep, Auntie! I thank my lucky stars on a regular basis that I now only deal with US taxes!! And that D is only 1 hour ahead of me in time zones!!

Squibs, I'm loving what you are doing here,........ I may have to do something similar...

M do you have something in mind for a stone for the ring?   I have been wanting one for a while but kept rethinking the center stone until this little one popped up.

Dunno right now Squigs,.....Kind of like you, I'll know it when I see it (AKA when D shows it to me).

I have a couple ideas I am toying with, but nothing definite,......and I still keep looking at the Yorams,.... SIGH!

So,..... Pix are imminent on the new Squigs-fabulous ring, right D????

I forgot to ask today if the ring was done.  It was a sunny day outside so I spent as much as possible outside :)

I hear you on needing the right stone.  Though I highly recommend the baby OMBs for anything.  I love the look!

I'm sure we'll find out today... I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much.  It already went through the design and build phase quicker than I expected.
