Trade Up Policy Question
« on: April 22, 2012, 02:51:41 AM »
Hello Everyone!

I am curious about the trade up policy. If I was to buy a stock ring right now, would I be able to trade it in for a loose diamond and a semi-mount setting I would like later on as long as it is 2x the amount of the ring?  ??? ??? ???

Check with David since a loose stone and a semi mount would be two items.  I'm pretty sure he would allow it but always check anyway!
always saving up for my next piece!

Hi Everybody,
Thanks for asking brushy- and of courser thanks for answering Sanchica and lc!

Both answers are correct- we would generally allow it- but it does break the policy technically- that being:
1) only one item may be traded up- but actually multiple items may be purchased as long as the price is double
2) the policy is for in stock items - which technically does not include a semi mount, but if the semi mount is going to be made for a stone we already have in stock, it would qualify.

SO- yes, but always good to ask about trade up at time of purchase- or subsequent if you have interest.

Thank you for answering my question, David! We want to eventually move to a dream ring but don't have all the funds at this time, we just thought that the trade up policy might be the best way to go. Wow, David, you are so generous with your policies. That is why you have repeat customers!!  ;D :D
