Hi Everyone!
Clearly, I can't give any clues on the color in fairness to those who've already guessed.

Of course this is CDi- where niceness really counts- so let's add a rule that each entrant  can add a second guess. If you change your mind once, it's no problem.

If no one gets it right, I will ask everyone to guess again.
That's if someone hasn't already guessed correctly.
Which I'm not saying if they did, or didn't.

In terms of table size,let me dig up a stone's photos that has a 60% table.
That's my favorite look, when done correctly.
It's a subtle difference to those who don't examine diamonds closely, but most people reading this would see the difference.

I specifically wasn't specif...I think???

OK- I;ll make it perfectly clear.
If anyone got it right, I won't say.
If no one got it right I won't say

So, maybe someone did already nail it, and maybe they didn't.
If the second possibility is true, and that trend continues, I would allow everyone to guess again.
If the first is true then we won;t need to exercise the "nobody got it right, try again" phase.
But I'm confirming that I'm denying nothing.
Alternatively, I'm denying that I confirmed anything.
Does that categorize the situation?

Gee whiz, I see almost every color of the rainbow in this rock, and I don't know why.  I see lavendar, purple, blue, teal, gray, cream, tan, black, emerald green, dark green, olive green, greenish yellow, yellow, gold, peach, salmon, and orange.  Or maybe...I have a funky monitor.  To say the least, I need a list of GIA's acceptable color names!

OK. 2nd guess:
 Table=54%
 Color=fancy bluish, brownish, grayish green yellow
 Fluoresence= strong green

Black, Grey, White, Red, Pink, Orange, Yellow, Brown, Green, Blue, Violet, Purple

No more than three hues. Hues to be mentioned in increasing order (pink-brown means more brown; brown-pink means more pink). Use of -ish, slightly, very slightly to denote decreasing intensity of a hue.

I'm sticking to my guess because I always go overboard with crazy modifiers and never win.  Plus, I have the luck of a snail.

HI everyone!

More on table size.
Can you see the difference in the photos?
The 55% table stone is more "ideal" looking.
The 60% table has a slightly different look

Great example, David. One question: is the lower girdle cut the same way on both stones? Or are they longer on the 60%? The 60% table stone, as well as looking more "open" (as it should), seem to have twice as many arrows - which I assume is how the eye interprets the edges of the lower girdle facets.
