That sounds like an awesome offer, DJM!  Wink

That stone reminds me of an emerald cut, it seems to have more steps than I'd associate with a baguette? It just needs the cut corners. Is it lying at a slight angle in this pic?

I believe it's because it is an almost square (aspect 1.20) stone - the facets and steps are much more visible than in a longer, thinner rectangle

Man, do I have to do everything around here?

Lynne...I LOVE YOU! Thanks so much for looking out for me.

Don't hate me okay? It's a beautiful stone, it really is...but...being 4 mm long and as OMC stated, more squarish, I'm afraid it will look like a solitaire in the band I have in mind. Besides, I really want a ring that is at least 8mm width--which is double the length of the diamond.  Maybe I should rethink the design...any thoughts? My only criteria is that it has to look masculine, not look like a solitaire and a contemporary design. Oh yeah..and it has to be at least 8mm wide. Shouldn't be too difficult....right? 1087 violent1 BangHead

Oh and out of curosity...can you email me the price of this stone?  djmc195@hotmail.com

OK- I'm going to look at this thing from a man's perspective.
you've thrown down the gauntlet, I need to respond in kind.

I think the best thing to do is us to build something

Setting a 90degree corner stone is challenging- particularly in a men's ring.
What about using a yellow radiant?

Not that I'm asking your opinion djm- I'm going to build this ring in the hopes you love it- if not, we'll put it in stock.

OK- I will ask you a few questions:
8mm all the way around, or does it taper on the inside?
What is your finger size?

Wow D!!

Geesh...I don't know what to say. I love you dude. But....you do remember I'm your worst nightmare (aside from annie)...right?  The picky one? The guy that's always telling you to look at things from a different perspective and frustrating you the whole time?   You sure you want to do this? I don't think I could bear seeing it in stock...I know me.
djm

PS: I was just kidding about the annie part...LOL! I should've said DJ, but it was funnier the other way...HA!

No, I am the neurotic one.  You know, the one who requires an extraction device to get out of David's office. I doubt that anyone can be worse about decision making - or, trying The Big Guy's patience - than I am.

Whoa there buddy, lol!  Here I am just minding my own business, reading the threads from last night, and BAM!

Really though, you should have heard me laugh when I read it.  You worked it in seamlessly.  Well done.  Grin
