all of the diamonds in my halo are 1pt except for the "surprise" diamond swhich are 2pts.  i think they are a great size for pave but for micro pave sometimes people go the route of 1/2pters.  i like that look as well.

Thank you.  I saw this ring on ebay and I think I'm going to have one made.  I'm in the process of getting some 1 and 2 point green diamonds.  I love them!  I hope it's okay to post this picture.  I got it off of ebay.

I would have to say "no" to natural green melee being easy to find.

I have an online friend that several years ago purchased a large OEC diamond on ebay that was fabulous! And her dream ring had to include natural green melee that was bright and beautiful. Oh my gosh, she searched and searched, she called vendors all over the place. I remember her looking for a looooooong time just waiting and hoping to source some so she could actually get her project underway. And the last I heard, she still had no luck in finding them!  Bawling

Yes Rhonda, I'd say your friend is going to have to change the design, or wait till...forever to get a ring.

For me, it's more of a question of which medium we choose to work in. From my perspective, I can't see ever using them- because they truly look different than the natural colored diamonds.

I think to a lot of people buying a diamond, the fact it's natural is important for a lot of reasons.

I know there is a thread somewhere where members have discussed color enhanced diamonds.  While there is nothing wrong with them, I personally would rather have natural ones.  Sure it's more that way, but I'd rather save longer if it meant in the long run I'd have natural colored diamonds.

I agree Snoop. I am so happy to have the inventory we have. If you want to own diamonds that are far more likely to hold value and appreciate -speaking as a dealer- natural is the ONLY way to go..... but the truth is, consumers might find light yellow diamonds, in particular , might be less than a lot of the irradiated un-natural looking colors. All right, our consumer Evil, but still, it's true.

David, I have to say I would buy a diamond from you sight unseen just on your word of it's wonder.    I have NEVER seen a diamond offered by y'all that didn't make me salivate!
