I am looking at purchasing a GIA graded faint pink RB diamond. I have not seen a faint pink in real life and was wondering if the slight amount of pink a faint pink would possess would be noticeable to a person if they were not looking for the color or were not shoving the ring up to their eyeball  Grin

The diamond is not large at .40ct but I was thinking of putting it in a halo setting with a nice rose gold bezel to accentuate the color.

does anyone one have a true to life picture of a faint pink RB? Should I keep looking for a light pink or higher?

I want the pink to be noticeable, but not necessarily overwhelming.

Thanks

thanks saqsay!
I'd certainly not advise buying a stone graded faint pink if you can't look at photos at the very least. Video is even more of a plus.

If you send us an email,  or call, we'll see that we can find for you.

As well, I think there is a range of "faint".  If OMC pops in, he is much more eloquent in his descriptions.  Two stones graded faint may look very different as each may be on the opposite side of the range considered faint.---one may have colour hardly noticable while the other may be closer to light.

saqsay: Thank you for the link, but unfortunately that ring is a little over my budget Sad I am really just putting together a fun project ring right now, but that diamond does give me an idea of what I could expect color wise and let me drool for a few minutes  Grin

David: The vendor has photos, but no video. Typically I do not trust photos, but they have a good return policy. I will send you an email today.

Shiba: Thank you for your response. I guess that is a good reason to go with a trusted vendor with lots of photos, video available and a good return policy...like DBL  Smiley
