Hi
Just thought you might want to know the ball is rolling on my heart diamond ring project.
I`ve emailed David with just a couple of ideas and I`m hoping he`ll tell me if they`ll work or maybe add new ideas of his own.
It`s soooo exciting and seeing as I`m a DBL virgin then waiting to buy my 1st ever piece is like waiting for Christmas.
Hopefully it`s watch this space and you do realise if or when it`s delivered I`ll be walking around waving my hand like the Queen just so folks will notice it !

Yeahhhhhh
David just sent me a first pic of a diamond he`s found for my ring. It`s beautiful and more to come yet. It`s beginning to finally feel real. Tell me were you all as excited as i am when you ordered your first DBL item or is it me being soppy ?

Oh, yes, I was unbearable! Even on a whole site of people devoted to DBL, I think I was beginning to sound like a bit of a fanatic! It is soooo exciting and it is almost as much fun when other CDI members are planning / waiting for a new piece too.

I'd say you're perfectly normal on this one. By our standards, anyway. Grin

omg you ladies are hilarious! i am lucky enough to pick up my dbl goodies in person, but, when i bought the band from dj and it was coming regular mail, omg that was torture! i came home one day and the "sorry we missed you" notice was in my mailbox! i freaked out and drove around until i found my mail carrier whom thankfully, i have known my whole life, and he laughed at me and got the box out of his car! torture, sheer torture!

Just arrived home from a long stressful 13 hour shift at work and there was another email from David re my ring.
The poor man will need to learn to read Double Dutch to make sense of my reply and suggestions for the ring. Anybody out there who can translate laymans terms of  "a few small thingies in the shoulder etc " into diamond like terms he might understand ? Huh?
I know what I mean even if he doesn`t lol !

That is such a smart approach to a custom project. You have diamond ring wisdom!

Hi Awestuck....
It's not you at all!

I apologize if I did not get the idea right away...
This type of custom work requires extremely  good communication-
I've emailed you our number for international callers
001-212-382-3770
Or email me your number and I'll call you.
We can get all the details handled much more accurately and efficiency over the phone.
CDI members: If it seems I've missed your email, please  let DJ know andf she'll make sure it's handled.
AS will Webmistress, or Annie, bless her heart, when she returns!
PS- we can put diamonds into the shank on this type of ring.

Hello I`m back
Have had family staying with me this week and it`s side swiped my whole heart shaped ring project.
MY lovely boys and their wives have bought me a beautiful unusual white gold bracelet. It`s kind of hard to describe it but it looks similar to an ID bracelet but the ID part of it is hollowed out and it has 4 bezel set floating diamonds in it.
It`s beautiful but it`s my first ever white gold piece. Consequently I`ve had to email David asking about my old favourite diamond R1872 set in a white gold bezel setting to match my new bracelet instead of my original idea. It must have been fate my boys arrived mid DBL project instead of at the end of it !
PS I notice you guys have started survivor diamond island, good luck to both teams and I`ll watch from the sidelines.

How sweet of your boys to give you such a thoughtful present and I can't wait to see how your ring comes out. I agree, we need pics of your bracelet to tide us over until your ring is done.
