Here's mine, and then my hubby's. The "R" with a sewing needle is representative of yours truely.

OH WOW!!! I love the R sewing one!! The tat on your hubby that wraps around? I heard the underside is one of the MOST sensitive area!!!!!!!!!!! Did he do that in one sitting?

Well I have no tats, but my hubby just got one last weekend, this is the pic the first day so it's a bit ooy here, but it's starting to peal now:) The black one was his first tattoo a month ago, all healed.

Ignore the mole, Dan HATES that and it's getting removed this month!

All I can say is OUCH!!!!  Gosh I don't have any pics to add to this thread but you guys have some great designs.  The needle 'R' is very cool!

Thanks DJ and Snoop. The "R" one was totally his idea and he just came home with it one day.

Snooper, I love Dan's cats!! I think they look so sleek and masculine. Looove them!!

My DH's cross/dragon/fire/chain one was done in several sessions. And yes, the pointy parts that get close to elbow (on both arms) was rough. As was the chain and flames that go all the way around. He said that was pretty brutal.

I have several tat's and these are some of the pictures! My avatar is the one on the back of my neck. It is a trinity know with sun and moon and star. I also have the initials of my DH and 2 kids done in there from an ancient scottish alphabet. I have a sun on my right shoulder and the one on my lower back is three seperate tattoo's. It started as a small peace sign and then a tribal sun then all the scroll work with some purple shading( to match the shading on my neck).

Wow!  Well, um, *I* have pierced ears!  <LOL>

OTOH, since I live in a college town, there are four or five tattoo shops here, which works out to one for about every 15,000 residents :-).  So I see a lot of ink and non-traditional piercings among my students.

Those are some pretty amazing and "stately" tattoos!     I can't add to this any of my own........................for know, I will stick to my ear piercings.   

LOL...Sam I bet the removal of Dan's mole will be a piece of cake after having those tattoos done!    ~Ronda

I don't have any pics to add, just ear piercings as well.  DH has one of harley wings, nothing elaborate like you all have.  He hates having his picture taken though....so no pictures at the moment.

Youre ink looks great Marnie! I especially like the one on your lower back. I think that looks sooooooo sexy on a woman! I swear I might get one of those someday!

A few years ago I was in a tattoo parlor and was within inches of getting a tattoo on my lower back like BR did.    I chickened out as I can no longer wear a 2 piece swimsuit since I have had children.    Lucky me........*&^% stretch marks!~Ronda

Oh, but BR, I heard the ankles are a painful area! Ouchy.. I think I'd stick with an arm or leg or shoulder.  Speaking of.. I also hear that the middle lower back area (like yours) can be ouchy too! I would love something there but I'm chicken to go for that area! lol

Those are all great tats!

Here is a shot of one of my 2.   I am thinking about getting another at the moment.  I want it on my back, but a little higher up than BRs.

Marnie! I love the colors and the design on your back!! Hmmmm I don't know if I could handle the pain!!! I think if I had a kid first, THEN I could get a tattoo:) Pain would be nothing!

OH I love that song and KK I love your tat!!! I'd get one if Ronda was my neighbor, as I'd need support! Nothing like getting your first tat with a sista!!!

KK, your ink is very nice! I must say.. the cursive lettering looks pefect! Some of the lettering I"ve seen is a little blurry, but I could read it perfectly! And what a nice saying too!

Wow!  Everyone's tats are very impressive...Snooper, the color in your DH's new tatoo are incredible.  Do they fade over time?  I know nothing about tatoos.

Good question.. I have no idea if tattoos fade overtime... I would guess?? 

I always wondered about people who get tattoos on their legs (women).  Would shaving overtime make them dull???
