Reporting Spam

Hey folks, just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been reporting spam posts and threads to the mods here. Webmistress does an awesome job keeping the worst of it away from CDI but the odd spam post does slip through.

Could I ask a favour please? If you find a spam post (you know the sort "hey, nice diamonds, by the way, I can make you rich if you just click on this link.... etc) please could you hit the 'report post' button then ignore it?

If you post anything after the spam message, it makes it harder for us to find and remove it quickly, because the last post on the thread is from someone we know.

I'd be happy to oblige, but I'm not seeing a "report post" button.  Can you point me in the right direction?  Or, is it the "report to moderator" link?

Yes, sorry - just click on 'report to moderator' please. We get an email alert, so we can remove it asap.

Just giving this a friendly bump

I wanted to give this a friendly bump to remind people that simply reporting the post is good enough.  Again posting anything after marking that it was spam or reported as such does make it harder for us to deal with the spam.
