As some of you may know,  I visited my mom in Florida with my daughter.    I have lots of pics!      I will be starting some new threads through out the forum.    Be on the look out!     This was a vacation of total pampering after some stresses I had experienced at home!     The vacation started a little rough ( I had a terrible haircut experience but luckily another stylist was able to fix the "screw-up" - well almost Undecided)       But lots of shopping, fine dining, manicure, pedicure....etc, etc...........    My mom and her husband truly "spoil" me in ways that I have not been "accustomed" to.    I tell ya,  a girl could get use to this! Wink      Needless to say, my daughter was spoiled too!    Here is a pic of my Mom (do you believe she is 63?) with my daughter and her dog, Zach.  You can see he is spoiled too!

63??? NOT!!! I was going to say early to mid 40's!! I've seen pics of you Ronda and you too look very young!! Fountain of youth indeed!

I LOVE and I'm laughing here, how your mom has a pet stroller!! Her and I share that in common...

I think this is enough for the bond and she might adopt me??? ROTF

So glad to have you back! I missed your posts!!!!

Although we all look very much alike,  I have had more people telling me that my daughter looks like her Nana!   They really do too!     Thanks so much for your kind words........I can only hope that I look half as good as my mom at her age!   She really takes care of herself very well.

Snooper..........the first person I thought of was you when my mom got that stroller out!    You and her would get along quite wonderfully!  Do you know that she was thinking of getting another dog while I was there.   We visited it 3 times........even had a name picked out for her, and she still can't decide.   I will post a pic of the dog!   It is a "shi-poo"    for those who aren't familiar that is a Shitzu and a poodle.     That reminds me......what do you call a Maltese mixed with a Shitzu? Grin..(wait for it)...

A "MALTSHITZ"                   Mahahahah..........   (o.k. some of you probably heard that before!)    Couldn't resist..........

Your Mom looks great.  Lovely photos.  Your daughter does look like your mother, a very strong likeness.  I have never seen a pet stroller, my dog would love that.
More photos please.

How could my mom not get this dog?   Look how utterly cute she is?    We called her "BELLA"........ we couldn't decide if we liked Bella Mia or Bella Pearl...like a tahitian pearl!        My daughter would have carried her home in a heartbeat............but then my DH would have sent us packing! Glad to hear you had a relaxing vacation - you certainly deserve a little pampering once and awhile!

Your daughter and mother are both beautiful, and they look so happy together.

As far as Bella goes, she's adorable!

My family has a Shitzu and Toy Poodle mix, and he is the . best . dog . EVER.

I am so glad you had such a great time!  TFS the pics-- everyone looks so happy!  Those pet strollers are great for little or old guys who can't keep up but still want to join in!

So your mom decided not to get the puppy?  I would be happy to help her find a reputable breeder or rescue group in her area, in order to help her find a good alternative to a pet store puppy!  Just PM me, if you want!

Your daughter does look like your Mom!! Both are beautiful btw!! Sounds like you had a great trip! I'm so jealous...no trips for us this year. Sad

I love the name Bella Pearl and that dog is the cutest! Is there room in that doggie stroller for her or will your mom have to get a double-doggie-stroller! Wink

Ronda, if your mom wants a double stroller? Get the Pet Gear AT3! That's what my cats have (holds up to 60 pounds, and it ROOMY!) It's so nice that it's better looking that kid strollers! ROTF

I know exactly what you mean about buying from a pet store especially when there are so many shelters and rescue pets to be had.    My mom knows the owner of the store and feels quite comfortable about it though!   I could be wrong but I think because of past concerns from buying at a pet store/chain, they have really had to change the way that they do things by providing breeders name, etc, etc.      And looook at that face?   I know that there are so many cute puppies out there......but Bella has such a wonderful personality/disposition to her.   We love the little white "goatee" on her chin too.
So what's the problem you ask?   My mom's husband does not want to get another dog.   He worries that it would limit there travel.   Funny,   he does not really do alot with there dog Zach other than play with him or take him for a walk..............  My Mom is the one who will do all the work/training her.     I say once you have one dog, what is the problem with having 2?   Bella will be a great companion for Zach.
Concerning a double stroller..........I think both of them can fit in it right now.........but who knows how big Bella could get.  Smiley     I am so surprised that Bella is still available.         ......................I guess if someone ends up buying her........ It wasn't meant to be Undecided

Robin.......I will PM you!

I agree, Zach does need a playmate.    After a few PMs from Robin,  my mom has some "serious" considerations to make.     Wink   Thanks so much Robin!~Ronda
