Hi all
I got back from Scotland yesterday and it rained and rained and rained whilst I was there !
Arrived back here and it`s rained and rained and rained here too. I swear the Uk is going to disappear under water !
The roof is ailing and my temporary repair is to become a full blown re - tile BUT only when it stops raining long enough for them to do it !
Fedex zapped me with a bill for VAT plus other charges for delivering my ring. A total of £116. Still worth every penny for the pleasure it`s given to me.
But hey my grand daughter gave me 5 days of smiles and enough sunshine for anybody to handle so life`s great.
Hope you`re all ok and it`s going to take me days to catch up with all the posts.

Glad to have you back awestruck!  It's a shame about the rain and your roof, but you seem to have made the best out of your vacation.

Do you have any travel photos to share?

Hey! Good to hear from you! Rain is great but when it rains and rains, it gets tiresome! But wonderful to hear that your grand daughter provided the sunshine Smiley  Dang that VAT!! But yes, so worth it!!! I can't get over how awesome your ring is! It sits so low and is so hefty!!

Hi, welcome back!  I wish we had some of that rain.  We are having the worst drought in more than 50 years here!  Too much rain is bad though, as well as not enough.  Hope you had a great time anyway.  Wink

Glad to have you back Awestruck!  It's raining like crazy here too but I actually believe it is an improvement on the hideously hot July we had last year.  I'd rather be too cold than too hot and at least I can sleep!
