CDI's Wishlist Thread for DHs, DBFs, SOs and anyone else who wants to treat us!

So I had this thought last night: why not start a wishlist thread?  We tried to set up a proper wishlist function but my system wouldn't co-operate.  But how perfect is this!  Everyone come here and post the items you are interested in along with any additional info and then email the link to your DH/DBF/SO!  How awesome is that!

However, this means we need to keep the thread clean so no chatting on here - just post the items you are interested in so that all our loving, wonderful partners can easily scan down to the right post and purchase a piece of our dreams!  At any time, you can come in and modify your original post with new choices and ideas!

I'll go first:

Info: Right hand ring finger = size 5.25/left hand ring finger = size 5.
Preferred chain length = 16"
Metal preference = white but yellow is good too - not overly fussy!

   As we approach the holidays, I'm thinking that a Wish List makes a lot of sense.  But, I'm not sure how many "significant others" will want to go searching through CDI threads to find it. Would it be possible to come up with some sort of official DBL Wish List - on the DBL and CDI sites - that shoppers can access by clicking a button and then typing in a registered user's CDI name or email address?  I know it would take some doing, but, I figure the easier it is to identify and find the "perfect" gift, the better the chance a purchase will be made...

What do you think?

(I'm sorry, I realize this would take a bit of doing... maybe too much for what it is worth.  But I thought I'd at least check it out...)

DJM, I must be having a big  . Yes, I can use the link that you supplied to get to the list, but, I can't find how to access the link from, let's say, the DBL HOME page.  Am I completely BLIND as well as BLONDE? 

Also, I was thinking more of a software type wish list that operates like a shopping cart system (which is probably more than David and Co. want to tackle anyway).  Just to satisfy my curiosity, I googled "wish list software." I was surprised to see how many wish list software systems and stand-alone sites already exist. I had no idea this stuff was so prevalent (the blonde thing again, I guess).  I'd still love to see something like this on DBL; I'd be throwing items in my wish list pile all the time!

I think this is a good idea as well.  Perhaps an easy way to accomplish this is to have a "wish list" under each of our profiles which can be viewed by the public.  I am thinking of the way gallery images are linked to our profiles.  Just  .
