Wish I'd posted it sooner.  MFG tag was at $9100 but had no reserve.  If another like it comes up I'll be sure to put it here.

Here's one for all you sea-loving fans  - looks like an anemone had a head-on with Bozo the clown, and he lost his signature nose.  Just the ticket, if you like rubies and diamonds.

He needs a good whitening treatment. Look at the amount of scale on those teeth.  Evil

Who buys this stuff? There's so much of it around that someone must be buying it.

Where I come from, this stuff sells pretty well - generally to rich Goth wannabes and those who celebrate the Day of the Dead.  Skull

As I know how I am appreciated I like to look for little gems that you can buy, these are still on ebay in the US and only about $250.
Two little pieces that you have always wanted for your charm bracelet.
Unfortunately the seller is not sure what they are and says they are beautiful antique coral - either horses leg or pig trotters.  Well you can make up your own minds.

Cute huh!   You canīt say that I donīt find little treasures for my friends.

I think they are either pieces of a much bigger coral sculpture, or teething aids (which have been pierced later).

We have a lovely set ca. 1850 of bone miniature tools (hammer, saw, file, and can't remember what else) that a friend gave us when DD was teething - of course the poor creature was fed plastic, and the antique teething aids were left on display in a cabinet. Grin

That has jogged my memory OMC, I remember one of those old silver rattles that everything on them, how the babies survived I have no idea, little bells and a whistle and there was some coral contraption on it.  I remember asking my grandmother what it was and she called it a teething rattle....oh well good enough name for it.  It was rather nice actually, I wonder what she did with it. Roll Eyes
These "horrors" have silver bolts on them so I suppose they were attached to one of those silver rattle  things.
You did the right thing putting the coral in the cabinet, much better for DD to have plastic.  Grin
Well that is your excuse and I will support you.

Do you want to be the centre of attention at your next party?  Joia has the answer.

Well, really he is rather cute, and one good thing I can say for him is that none of the gems are real.  phew.

What a fantastic ring to wear while sunbathing on the beach!  The coverage is so large you should be able to put an entire page of the book you're reading in the shade with it! Grin
