Good one DL!  DJM, THAT was hilarious.

GiaGirl, how's the S40?  Are you loving it?

Trinkette!  Thank you for asking.  I LOVE IT!  I cannot even imagine liking a car more.  It is a great driving little car and it is a 5 cylinder.  It has been good on gas and still has some pep to it.   It is SUPER comfortable.  Just a pleasure.

GIA, I like your new car-- but your tidy garage is really enviable!  Cheesy

Glad you like the car GiaGirl... certianly, it is a Looker. But, I'm concerned, with: "some pep."  When you step on the gas, does it GO, or does it Go? The pep factor is huge for me (I know, I know... not the best desire in these times of $4/gallon gas).

And, your garage has made me ashamed of my own garage. When we moved here, there wasn't enough room for all the STUFF, so, I've stored a lot in the garage.  I've been here for a few years now, and, still, the vehicles sit outside...  violent1

Hey guys!
Here's a pic of my first car.  1967 Barracuda fastback.  I got it when I was 16 (in 1993), and we kept it in our family for 15 years.

I miss that car...

OK...I feel like I am losing my mind...which I may be.  I swear I responded to Trinkette already.  I am paranoid...did I respond and it got erased for some odd reason or did I forget to respond totally?

T- I am not a good judge because I drove a sloppy car before. It did not even think about GOing or even GO GO...so it seems to GO to me.   It feels more like a European car GO GO as opposed to a Honda GO GO...if you know what I mean.  It is a solid ride.

Hey GiaGirl,
It would go!! The only downside was no airconditioning.  My dad used to say it had a 455 airconditioner... "4 windows down, 55 mph".

All I could think about that was, 55 mph? Yea, Right...

Very fun, GIAGirl!  We've got some FOUR wheelers, but, I'm afraid that they're completely covered with cow poop... (someday I'll convince these guys that a horse can round up cattle better than a machine).  Roll Eyes

Hey, I just saw this! It is indeed a neat garage. One day, I'll post a pic of ours, for a compare and contrast...

I used to date a man who vacuumed his garage. It didn't work out... Grin

It was the scale of the contrast between us that caused the problem. You'd need a shovel and a dumptruck to clear my garage. And a LOT of spare time! Grin

DJM already knows that Mrs. M. He just asked the question so we'd answer, thereby pointing out the fact that our garages are slighly on the  icon_porc -y side.  It is all part of his Master Plan...  Roll Eyes

DJM, I say, NUTS to you.  You...you... NEATNICK!

Slightly??

I reckon mine is a work of art. What I like best is that DH still manages to park in it. Shows skill and determination! Grin

Roll Eyes DJM, I just KNEW that you were a "neatnick."  Mikla, don't tell me that YOU vacuum too...

Oh no, the garage is "man space" in our house.  I get to park my car in there; everything else is up to DH.  He takes relatively good care of it.  It starts to pile up a little from time to time and then one day he'll decide it needs a good cleaning.  This happens maybe two or three times a year.  Then, everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) comes out onto the driveway, equipment is cleaned, tools and parts are organized, used clothing in boxes go to Goodwill, boxes are restacked, and the whole garage is pressure-washed from ceiling to floor.  Our neighbors usually think we're having a garage sale until it's all put back!

<sigh> if I could only get him to wash the floors inside the house . . .
