I can't believe I totally forgot to update this thread by saying that my nephews girlfriend said yes!

He was so cute.  He sent me an email that was his typical personality that read:   

   She said Yes.   She loves the ring.   Thank you!   


I had to chuckle....but I hope to talk to them both in person and ooh and aaah over the ring!! Smiley

Congratulations to nephew and new niece.  Donīt forget the pics.  Of course it is going to be a joyful date for them. Doubly so, a birthday and an engagement and who knows in the future perhaps they will choose this day for their wedding.
 Dates can sometimes be unfortunate, my poor friend Jean born on the 1st April always got April fool before Happy birthday but she learnt to live with it.
