Has anybody ever seen a 3 heart diamond ring ? I`d love to know what one looks like and try to envisage a middle yellow heart with a smaller white heart on either side. You know I`m a sucker for heart shaped diamonds  Grin
Plus I was reading something about flanders cut diamonds, what are they ?
I`ve never heard of that cut before but until I discovered DBL I`d never heard of half the cuts before !
Diamonds to me were always little round things until then ....

I'm not sure that I've seen three hearts, but I do really like this ring:

It's a cushion with heart sides. Smiley

Flanders are real pretty, but I do believe they face-up small for their weight.  I used to know/remember more about the cut, but my mind is mush these days...

Oh yes, I do seem to remember that the Flanders isn't available in very large carat weights (I could be wrong here) and I'm sure that because they are "limited" in supply (not just "anyone" cuts a "true" Flanders) I'm sure that you pay for it.  dontknow

No doubt that David and a good Google search will lead you to tons of info!

I got to see a flanders cut in person at Christmas and I can tell you that it was supposedly 2cts but looked more like 1.  I wasn't impressed about that!  The shape is like a rectangular cushion.  Very pretty but I wouldn't want to deal with the shrinkage issue.

And I think, DJ, 2cts is about as big as you can get it, at least in the US.  dontknow

Really?  Gosh.  It was beautifully cut and screaming white.  I just like my diamonds to look something like the size I've paid for!  Oh, and I didn't ask the price - I was already suffering sticker shock from the 2ct tinted radiant they'd shown me.  Just don't go shopping for diamonds in Aachen!

Got a project in the works, Awestruck? A three heart ring would be delightful!

We had a thread with a yellow heart and two hearts in a necklace. Anyone remember where it is?

Well Jen I`ve always got a project in the works in my mind. Hopefully now my roof is sorted I can build up my DBL fund again but I reckon a nice treat before Xmas will be in order.
I haven`t seen any heart side stones on the site but I`m sure when the time`s right that David will keep his eyes open for me. I quite fancy a triple heart ring, set in yellow gold, with a yellow central heart and small white side hearts.
