It's getting longer.......I included the two projects I have on the go right now and will just cross them off as they are done.  This is never going to end - I know it!

Either add a couple more links to my necklace to make it a true DBTY, or modifiy the 16 inch one that I have until its a more wearable 18.
Find a mate to the .25 marquise diamond that I have and make some earrings
Find a rose  and diamond and a white and diamond band thats good matches for the marquise ring
That was the most doable list,
More difficult:
Reset Freedom into a diamond flower ring
Reset yellow princess into some sort of ring that keeps the same head its in now
Bigger studs
Probably not happening, but you never know:
Get a pear diamond drop, get some sort of diamond bracelet.

Well, I got so much this year, and I turn.. oooooh..... nevermind.  I have a big birthday in 2009.  So this is more a life list than a 2008 list.   But:

1) yellow diamond ring.  A three-oval ring if FIL gives me the oval earstuds that were my MILs.  If he doesn't, maybe a cushion?  Or a princess?
2) blue sapphire ring-- cushion sapphire, probably a three-stone with cushion sides
3) Not for soon, but for someday... a BIG colorless three-stone EC ring :-).
4) maybe some dressy earrings-- dangles?

yes, the chameleon with pears was so gorgeous....my hubby bought it for my engagement ring! I'm staring at it now and it continues to delight me.

I'm a color change gal and I already had the Alex when i met my man, and he thought he'd never be able to top it because its such a gorgeous ring. Then he spotted that you can get changing diamonds... <grin>

 I have always liked the 3.04 FLY radiant. 

This is a true story that my mom just told me...My gradfather went to Africa and brought back some small pink diamonds that he made into a cluster for my grandmother.  My tomboy cousin inherited it and she keeps it in the bank.  I would love to have a pink halo asscher ring made!!!

Maybe your cousin would sell it to you for fair market value, or in exchange for another family heirloom...never know, its worth a shot..

When the funds build up I will talk to her.   I think she got that and my Grandmother's engagement ring.  I got a really neat band...she had a yellow gold band and then changed her setting to platinum.  She put a platinum "orange blossom" band over the gold band...it is really neat looking and a designer diamond ring that she one from a huge national contests.   Mine is much bigger and nicer quality...but she got the pinks!!!   I sound like a brat.  I better be quiet.

5. 3.30 F-I1/2 cushion in solitaire or with baguettes
6. 2+ ct fancy light yellow cushion with trills

Hmmm, maybe that is my wish list for the next 5 years out??
