Hell yes! Who cares about the inevitable neck problems? If my crippling scoliosis is the result of a whopper like that then I will EMBRACE it.

I'd gladly wear a neck brace if it meant I got to wear the Hope Diamond

I saw it at the Smithsonian about 6 year ago, it was amazing!!! I have a video of it but of course, I can't figure out how to upload it (VHS)

Ooo, lucky! I think I'd injure myself if saw it in person... trying to rush the guards to get to the glass case... realising that the only part of me hard enough to smash glass is my head... falling unconscious to the floor as I realise the glass is three inches thick...

Obviously there are guards everywhere, but I want to say that there was one near the room it was in and that was it? When we were taking videos (my ex was with me), we were just doing our own thing without a lot of commotion near the diamond. It was easy to take pics and videos (it was Jan, so not a prime time to visit DC)
