Hi All,
I'm very proud of this one...
I've been a musician even longer than I've been a diamond guy...
I started out playing Double Bass in 7th Grade, and quickly graduated to Electric Guitar.
Ove rhe years I dabbled in playing piano, drums- and finally pedal steel guitar.

At some point I decided I wanted to record myself. That lead to me starting to record others.
This was a kid named Jason- at the time he was 18 I believe.
Amazing talent.
He played me the song, and we collaborated on the production.
I heard all the instruments in my head.
We recorded this in the aprtment I was living in during 1995.

I had Jason do the vocals in the bathroom. It's actually possible to use the same stuff that makes you sound good in the shower work for recording.
Of course this kid had a set of pipes that did not need a whole lotta help.
the whole thing took less than 3 hours.

What Talent!  That was a great song!  (Those briolettes are not bad either..lol)  The little things were a little hard to hold onto, eh?  If you ever need someone to vacuum, call me---only if I can keep what I find in the floor!

I loved seeing the view outside your window.  It's so interesting to me since I've never been to NY.

I didn't see that video your brother Marc made until the other day.  I loved the music in it also.  I loved the slo mo parts with the music, very nice.  He looks very happy---touching!

OK, I don't know what moved me more- the song, the diamonds, or NYC.  WOW!  I am actually loving the briolettes with a little tint.  Feels very antique-y to me.  Oh my.  Just when my resolve was set.  What's a girl to do???

Come over to mine - we could have a black tie event all to ourselves, then I could wear mine too! Since I started collecting diamonds, I've been trying to convince DH that we should dress for dinner. He's not going for it so far!

We occasionally have tiara days at work. I mean, most of us wore one to get married in and they haven't seen the light of day since, so we wear them around the office, to get the use out of them. Alarmingly, it passes almost un-noticed. Grin

Good idea Jen ! Will suggest a tiara day where I work and all the uniformed staff ( not me ! ) can wear their tiaras on top of their Sally Army hats. We already have more epaulettes, insignia and uniforms than the British Army. I reckon a few tiaras will lighten the day  Grin
In fact I`ll dig out the now retro style wedding dress and wear that too eh ?

Diamonds are like people, put them under a microscope and you`ll always see a flaw but hold them up to the Sun and each and every one is beautiful.

Grin Not sure the tiara with uniform look would work too well! Grin

We do some odd ball things at work from time to time - I think we'd go mad otherwise. We got funny looks  for rowing to the canteen on our swivel chairs, in formation yesterday lunchtime. It was more effotful than it sounds...

Sorry - I'm pathologically unable to remain on topic for more than two posts! The briolettes look yummy and I enjoyed the soundtrack.

It was like a cross between the Boat Race and the muppet show. We should do it on a tiara day sometime.
