The saddest part to all of it, was that the girl selling it is marrying the owner of the store and all she has ever wanted was a yellow diamond...he is giving her one of those and I wanted to say "NO!!!  YOU CAN GET A REAL YELLOW!!!!"  The color was better than most color treated, but still HORRIBLE!
I am thinking he was paying $15000 for it...think what she could get for $15000 at DBL!!!  Ms. Fancy Pants for heaven's sake!!   I am almost embarrassed to go back in and show her Ms. Fancy Pants because you just know she will look better than some color treated princess cut!!!  Come to think of it...she has a brown...I am wondering now if that one is color treated!!!

My mom has an even more elderly friend who is driving all the way to Loch Raven Pa (at that point, just drive to NYC) for a gen-u-wine yellow diamond. I begged her to give me five minutes with the woman...but mom said having to use a computer would upset her. I have a bad feeling about this.

AGGGH!  It makes me sick...but for some people if they do not have the "story" about driving to NY and do not pay too much...then they are not happy.  We have friends like that.

That is not so much the issue, as a complete inability to operate a computer, and the suspicion that anything on the Net must be not what it's stated to be. You know, Loch Raven is no where near here...she could just drive to NYC if she would listen...

You are right!  People will trust someone who is lying to their face, but if it is over the inernet it must be bad and you MUST be crazy for trusting it!!!
