I used to spend my summers on Cape Cod. Arguably, the best years of my life were spent swimming and sailing off the coast. One of my very favorite places is a beach that you can get to only by boat. On the outer side is a sandbar, where, during low tide, you can walk for hours over pristine, creamy-colored sand. When the tide comes in and the sea water is just a foot or two high over the bar, it is a gorgeous aqua-blue-green color. The kind of color you'd expect in the tropics, not New England. It is just sublime. Is it blue, or is it green? Hard to tell. Anyway, this gorgeous, ocean aqua color is EXACTLY like the color of these:
