Come to think of it, now I remember that suit-- 3:00am congo line followed by the limbo contest--remember that? You and DJ doing shots....

I have all sorts of homeless jewelry that, finally, will have a safe, clean resting place. Welllllll, it has certainly been my day today.  DJM, THANK YOU.  The Jewel Jet arrived today, safe and sound.  Within 5 minutes of its arrival, I had it plugged onto the nearest outlet and filled with water.  EXACTLY 3 minutes later, I pushed the little lever and BLASTED my Orphan ER and Glarkler&Browns.  Both rings look FABULOUS! I'm quite neurotic about keeping my rings clean, and the Jewel Jet definitely improved their appearance.  I'm impressed. So pretty and SPARKLY! DJM, thank you, again, for such a thoughtful and generous prize.  I just love the Jewel Jet, and I will use it ALL THE TIME!

So glad it arrived safely, Trinkette!  You are very welcome!  I hope the engraving turned out well too.  Now I have to dig up that Taebo DVD and get it in the mail for you......I have hardly left the house in the last couple of weeks!

I promptly examined all my "stuff," with some interesting results-- I knew my ER center stone fluoresced, but so do both the side trills.  In my nine-stone princess anni band, one stone has STRONG fluorescence, one or two have just a bit, and the others, not.  My pear pendant absolutely GLOWS under the light-- as does one of my earrings, but not the others.

Oh, and also-- melee is really interesting under the light.  On my halo ring, the Asscher has no fluorescence, but a few of the lil' guys do.  Interesting.

Now, I need something with, say, yellow fluorescence... just as a test case for my little light, you know  .

yeah thanks david...  my asscher halo ring, well hers, lit up...  the RA doesn't have any fluo, but most of the pink melee had strong fluo!  i think they're green, they looked greenish!  almost ALL the pink melee had it, only 2 didn't have fluo...  it's like the asscher has a green halo!  i'll try to take some pics if i find a camera!
