Hi All!  I am back and sooo sorry!!!  Thank you all for the sweet thoughts and for pausing the game.  My son is doing well.  He was playing ball and slipped and gashed his upper lip.  Looks like maybe he bit it.  Really hard to tell about the bottom.  It stopped bleeding by the time I got there and luckily does not look like it needs stitches.  We read lots of books while he sucked on ice and he is sleeping very sweetly now.  Sigh.

T and Ace I am so so sorry!  We had all talked about 1pm PDT / 4pm CDI time this Thursday - does that work for finishing up?  I would be free for 1.5 hours, which should be enough time for the final 8 questions.  T?  Ace?  DJ?

I'm so glad your son is ok! I was really worried that he would need stitches! I wasn't even playing and I don't drink but I need about a dozen watching this unfold!

GL, I'm happy that your son's injury is not more serious.

Phew... it is good to be back at home on my own stinky satellite connection! Thursday 4PM EST is fine with me, I just need a heads up so I may make arrangements again to get my son from school to swim practice.

Thanks for the good wishes everybody!  Little guy slept well, woke up pretty cranky but less swollen.  Cheered up a bit when his grandpa went to the park with us to play with rockets, and the made a full recovery when allowed a chocolate shake with dinner!  He said it didn't hurt anymore, just felt "bumpy".  I am just thrilled it required no stitches.  Phew!

Thanks again for bearing with me.  See you all at 1pm/4pm on Thursday!!

UH-OH! I'm sorry everyone, several things have just come up and I can't get enough coverage today in order to play the game.  I'm afraid that I must BAIL today.   Bawling  I know how difficult it is to schedule this stuff, and am happy to excuse myself and let GL and Ace continue the challenge without me. Nope.  You are not bailing.  No-one is bailing at this point in the game.  You have all been working on this for months.  If you can't make it today, no problem.  Just figure out another time that will work - I can be real flexible - no worries, Trinkette!
