We probably wouldn't enjoy the forum as much if we weren't all a "little" crazy . . .

Congrats to DN and Pandora too!!!

Thanks Again David-your contests are always fun Smiley

I thought this was as good a place as any...

So today I was getting ready to leave the house for Jury Duty, when I heard a big clunk in our bathroom-which at the moment is housing our 2 cats as our newly cleaned carpets dry.

So I go to investigate and what do I find---only 1 cat(both cats are indoor only)!!!

The window was open, so the first thing I thought was that maybe the missing cat pushed through the screen-so I went over and checked and the screen seemed intact.  So I next think, maybe he ran out as I opened the door and continue by searching the entire house up and down 3 times and still NO cat.

At this point it has been about 25 minutes, I looked everywhere for him-including outside-still thinking maybe he pushed the screen out, he got out and then the screen snapped back---thus the huge noise I heard.

I begin thinking, that calling the court administrator with this excuse for not showing up today, probably is one of the worst excuses they have ever heard and wouldn't believe me anyway and started getting even more upset!!!

I again went back into the bathroom opening all the cupboards and NO cat.  When for my 3rd time, I opened the laundry chute(the door opens out and is spring loaded) and what do I see 2 glowing eyes staring back at me!  And now that he is 'caught' he begins meowing.  So now to get him out of the laundry chute without hurting him(even though the thought may have passed through my mind by then-for putting me through that)!  Gotta Love them I guess Smiley

Thanks for asking Mikla!

I really did "mothball" these for the last two weeks, but I do remember a few things...
I believe that were looking at one parcel to be Y-Z ranging to Fancy Light Yellow- and the other, one shade darker: Fancy Light-Fancy Yellow....

Earrings, David, where are the earrings you spoke about?

I "need" a yellow pair 1.5 - 2.0 ctw if you happen to have those lying around . . .  Evil

I have two Siamese cats, very curious and also indoor cats.  My husband was up in the attic working on something above the ceiling.  He was banging around up there and had the ladder below since the access door is in the ceiling.  Well, he finished up his work and closed the access door.  You guessed it, we couldn't find the female cat anywhere.

So we were watching TV downstairs and heard a huge crash from upstairs.  The female cat had figured out how to pry up one of the ends of the access panel FROM THE INSIDE OF THE ATTIC and jumped down into our closet.  Needless to say, the entire access panel shattered onto the floor and spread dust and drywall pieces all over our clothes!

cat icon_cat rotflmao That's one smart cat!

Dear David -

Yes I did but I got confused because there were several GIA reports listing four different dimensions, so I wasn't sure which applied to the studs for sale.

I would prefer to have the ones that matched in size really well, but . . . are those the ones for sale?  5.49x5.27 and 5.48x5.28

Still looking forward to pics of your recent purchase of radiant pairs!

well ths is a big...ooops

After all was said and done, there was only one pair- 1.50ct total weight. We'd have to offer them for about $4500- and the color seemed to be about W-X, or possibly Y-Z ( not all that dark)
We tried discussing the price, but we could not reach agreement with the cutter...so we're letting the parcel go back to the cutter.
I love al the stones, but we always need to make sure price matches everything else!

Generally it takes a few days for us to agree to purchase a parcel.
I need to look at - then wait a day or two and look again to confirm first impressions....

How about taking a few pics and letting the forum members help you to decide?

I know, I know, it's just an evil ploy on my part to see pictures of more diamonds - sorry!   Evil

Actually, the ring ( which is sold) was designed ( in concept) by the person that purchased the diamond!
