Yes, I knew the specifics all along. Gemelli, I almost did forget where I put the answer......but then I remembered...

The widely varying answers surprised me. To my eye, they looked pretty large in the photos.

So- without further delay, the answer
Both diamonds had GIA reports.

that brings the total to 20.53carats.

At least I was close with my 23.5 ctw. I even measured the 0.42 and one of the yellow and looked up other diamonds. 

And now: How much are they?

Hmmm...one thing I did not anticipate or plan for was the judging.....we'll want to make sure that we award the prize to the closest person.



Price:  If we were offering them tye'd be about $350k.
The type of store that might carry such a pair? $400,000- 1/2 million.......

It WAS interesting researching what these size stones might be worth.  I was fairly convinced that they were somewhere between 9 and 11 cts... the pricing on the internet for "similars" was actually quite varied. But, once I thought I had a "good" representative stone as far as color and quality, I couldn't figure a "scale" to use to jump up or down between carat weights. Then, there was the "DBL pricing factor"...
