Hi all,
I've been so depressed with all of this dreary weather in the midwest.  They even have a name for what I'm experiencing.  But I've found the cure!  Have the BIG BROWN truck deliver a intense yellow diamond ring.  You stare at your fingers and it's like the Sun came out.  The color is so amazing, you can't help but smile, and have a wonderful mood!

It's was a trade-up special, which made it affordable (I never thought I'd be able to own a natural intense yellow diamond), and a pic is attached for your viewing pleasure.

Thank you DBL!!!

How did I miss that this little gem came back?!?!  My pocketbook is very lucky that you snapped it up before I saw it!  The ring and I only spent a few short minutes together when I was in NY, but I think we really made a connection, lol.  Wink  I absolutely LOVE that ring - huge congratulations!

I'm actually really happy she's with a CDI member because now I have someone I can badger for photos, lol.

So, photos please.   Evil angel

I saw that ring! I love intense pear diamonds. both annie and I have always adored that ring. Sheryl, we're so glad it went to a good home. The yellow beading around the diamond is a scrumptious detail. If you can, provide us with a handshot! What a beauty. You are so lucky. It wasn't on the site long, annie.

Hi Sheryl!

I am so glad that a CDI member now has Tweety  tweety.  I am the one that traded her in and BOY! Do I miss her.  For such a sweet ring she has losts of bling.

Enjoy Tweety and wear her in good health!

These were Tweety's room mates: R551 and R2034

I promise to give Tweety a very good home.  And she had some very good looking roommates - I really love R551.  I'm dying to know what you traded up for!  Please send pics.

I am just so crying, Sheryl  Bawling happy for you and sad for me!  I knew Tweety wouldn't stay on the shelf very long.  Wear her with great happiness!  You have a killer ring that I adore.  Guess I better run to the the dibs thread now. Grin

Sheryl,

This is your thread and I do not want to high-jack with my acquisition.

However, I traded Tweety for two diamonds and a sapphire.  I know everyone expects a trade in to be for a bigger and better ring, but I already had R551 1.04ct FYI with trills in platinum, and that's the max $ my piggy  icon_porc bank could  handle.

But I will show some lousy pictures of one of the diamonds.  David replaced a 1/3ct yellow that was in the center of this ring with 1.06ct FYB.  Stunning improvement.  This diamond goes from a light honey to a red-brown depending on the lighting.  The ring is one sparkling fireball across my finger.  Even David was surprised by the transformation.

Sparkly, that ring is fantastic!  I love that brown and the square stone combo.  Nice band, too, with the inset diamonds.   wow2

Thanks, Mikla.

Sheryl,
I really am glad that your are enjoying Tweety because everytime I look at her I think, "Why did I let her go?!"  I was actually experiencing pangs of regret  Bawling when I saw her listed on the website.   If you ever trade her in, maybe I'll have an opportunity to reclaim her.
Enjoy Tweety tweety and wear her in good health!

Sparkly,
Do you live anywhere in the Midwest?  I'm willing to give visitation rights to Tweetie!  She hasn't left my finger since the BIG BROWN truck arrived.  LOL

Sparky,
You had a great vision and DBL did a great job on modifying your ring - it is absolutely spectacular!  I love the gorgeous color change and all that sparkle.  The new center diamond is a real beauty!  You won't find that at Walmart.  LOL

Sparkly, you lucky, lucky girl. That remodel of your ring is fantastic. If the stone had ever even made it to the website, I would have called David with one hand while holding my credit card in the other hand. Enjoy her in good health!

Thanks, Sheryl and Greeneyedbass.

The factory tweeked the non-DBL ring, and the difference in fire and sparkle is amazing.  I wish I had taken a before picture, but I didn't anticipate such a dramatic transformation.

tweety is the perfect name for that diamond! congrats and enjoy in good health.

sparkly, that YB center stone is gorgeous. i have never cared for brown diamonds before,  but D's new EC FDB with baguette sides is a temptation.

Wow, Sparkly! That is a gorgeous ring.

Funny, I was thinking about that oval the other day, trying to find a pic. I had missed that it sold and I was sad to see it was no longer on the site.

It's one of my favourites and when I have a new job, I'm hoping to have something very similar made. Once I've indulged my Daussi craving, possibly.  Wink

Thanks, Saqsay!
I agree with you, Saqsay, R3201, the brown EC with baguettes is a great ring.  It is described as having orange flashes.  If I didn't have a FDB color matched set, I would be on R3201 in a heart beat; I really like that ring!.
