Natural colored diamonds and other colored stones did very well at the Sotheby's "Magnificent Jewels" sale in Geneva.



 A rare 2.52 carat vivid green diamond sold for $3.08 million. It was the largest vivid-green diamond ever to appear at auction and the sale set a new world-record price per carat (in Nov 18 2008) for a green diamond at auction.

I like the  blue a lot, but green (like my eyes) have always been a favorite color of mine.  That green just makes my heart melt for some reason.  The blue is great, but I think I like blue-gray more than simply blue.
