Snooper's ring photos are up. Ronda's will be in the rotation but will replace gracefullions. I want a yellow, yellow brown, something with pink and then I gotta keep heart earrings up there.

It was hard choosing a photo. I might switch it out later with the cell phone one. (I think)

I loooove your ring..............you know that if you ever traded up your ring with David...I would have to consider trading up my ring for yours.....   IF I was able to do so.    I think your ring started the Fancy Brown craze....SERIOUSLY!!!  ~Ronda

I wanted to add these pics of my ring w/ my Ritani.  They're a bit dark as it was raining all day, but dang! I will admit the Ritani looks great with my halo!!!

My main concern is that the surprise diamond touches the band or any band... Wouldn't the diamond scratch the Ritani band? Other than that? I LOVE the Ritani with the Halo more than with my ER!!!!!!!!!!

I would imagine that any two rings rubbing together will scratch each other to some extent - I also know that drives you mad!  The bezel on my surprise diamonds appears to complete protect the diamond should I choose to wear a band with it.  I say, don't fret about it too much - it looks GREAT!

I scratch my rings up horribly!  Its not like I work construction with them on - just driving and life.  How do you keep yours scratch-free? I would love to protect them more.

BTW, have you already said how and with which othere jewelry you are going to wear it?

And I just realized that my new cushion and your princess are going to be twins!  You have the exact look I want!  I am going to forward a photo of yours to David.

Snooper ...it does look gorgeous together!   I really don't think you need a band with it though unless you prefer it that way.

GL...  If David replicates Snooper's Leon Mege setting for that cushion..........That would be to die for!!      A tip from Michael E concerning scratches.........soak your rings in white vinegar overnight.    If you don't want to do it overnight, put white vinegar in the microwave and heat it just before the boiling point, then soak your rings/jewels for about 10 minutes. Swish them around a few times to loosen the dirt.   Also...stay away from putting tanzanite, pearls, emeralds, or any soft stones in the mix.  It will damage and possibly crack the stones.    The acid in the vinegar gives the metal a nicer brilliance.    Also...a polishing cloth works nice too!~Ronda

Interesting.  Do you know if this is true only for platinum, or for other metals too?

Snooper, love all your pics!!!!

Snooper, have you thought about wearing a little spacer band in between your emerald cut & ritani band? Would that help keep the diamonds from rubbing together, or diamonds rubbing into the platinum on your nice rings?

I wear a thin 2mm band in between my diamond wedding band & N heart ring. The diamonds in my wedding band are tension set (bar type) so the edge of the diamonds stick out & could rub up against my good rings & chew up the metal......but the spacer band is small & thin enough that it keeps the rings apart & it sits below the diamonds in the wedding band so the diamonds can't chew it up.

I used to wear a cheap sterling silver 2mm band, but I just found a used 2mm platinum band on DT for only $100, so I use that one now.

Maybe you could try that.

F&S, I actually  have a 2mm plain band that I wore today w/ my halo and I love it that way as I won't be so dang paranoid abut the scratches!! I need help! LOL

GL not sure if it's true with all metal (scratches) Another reason why I haven't worn my yellow RHR w/ a band due to the 18K yg scratching/rubbing w/ plat!!

Also, I think for now, my ER princess is going to be my main one, but as for what pieces to wear? I have been for almost a year been wearing my yellow RHR so now it's time to just wear the halo:) I won't wear it w/ a band as a RHR, but with a band on my LH:)

LOL Ronda!

The new pics are WONDERFUL Snooper!  That EC is so white - I don't believe it's a J!

I won't wear my new ring as an alternative ER.  I love my yellow radiant far, far too much to take it off for more than a few minutes!

LOVE my band!!! I'm wearing it as my band w/ my ER now *points*.  That's why I'm trying to sell my other band (round/baguette) channel as I'm wearing this more! I'm so indecisive, yet I love bands so much! part of me thinks I should not have posted that band for sale... Hmmmm... If it doesn't sell in one month, I'll keep it--it's really breath painstakingly beautiful:( Hmmmm, ok, maybe I should pull that.... EEP!
