Hi Everyone!

To give you an idea of the price differential, let's use a hypothetical band taking 100 one point diamonds.
If the band was in the Fancy Pink, it will cost $8000
If the band was in the Fancy Brownish pink $3700

Does this short film illustrate the color visibly to you guys?

Not even looking at the price, I like the slightly darker tone of the brownish pink better, it looks like it would make other colors including white pop more...do you find that to be the case?

Very good question EMJ! I was just about to ask that! From a customers point of view, my brownish/pink halo looks pretty darn pink to me.  I haven't seen a fancy pink diamond in person.  But from the video it's hard for me to choose.

Also, the price for the Fancy Pink? YIKES!!  Confused42 I think I'd rather save my $ for a fancy pink diamond and not 100 1 pointers for example.  Now if I was a millionaire, my answer would be different...  pray

I am with EMJ in that I do see perhaps a darker tint to the brownish pinks.  And, I am with Snooper in that this is what I looked like when I read the price.. evil7 for the pinks!

I guess if I were to judge from my cosmo it doesn't look at all brown, so I would rather keep some of the $$$

I can see a difference loose like that in the video...but not sure it's a $4,300 difference though Smiley  And once set, they seem to look super pink anyway......i'd go for the brownish ones...but that's just me!!

Both lots are beautiful.....but holy cow, I can't believe the price difference! I'd take brownish pinks any day!

To be very honest, I CANNOT tell any difference in color tone in the video. Maybe it's just me ?? But I have my glasses on and was looking intently and I could not see a difference.

And FOR ME, I have always not liked the deeper / purply-pink shade of the intense or bright pink diamonds anyway. I MUCH prefer the faint / light/or medium pink and the light browns with pink/peach tones.

So for me, there's no question that I would opt for the brownish pinks just for thier color alone - even if I could afford a fancy intense pink band.

I also prefer the more muted tone of the brownish pinks. I've never been drawn to the cotton-candy, bubble-gum pink Tongue

Most of you know my fondness for pink. If I could afford it then the pure pinks would be just for me. But putting the latter ones in rose gold really does make them appear as pure pinks.

hi. i like the thought of the brownish-pink too. it makes me think of a more coppery color like pink gold. maybe thats why the  pink halos at DBL look so nice.

You know? This makes sence.  My pink martini earrings I believe were "light pink" and if I compare them to my halo which is brown/pink? The brown/pink has more color and still looks PINK!!!!!!!
