Poor Bloo... so confused. *SIGH* Just too many numbers, too many diamonds. Life is so unfair... (hehe).

Yepper, 3027.  The big print labels it a Brownish/yellow cushion., but I liked the stone, not the description.

But truly, if you could group them the way you did with the pink and the orange and the marquise, all together, I can get a better feel for colors that will pop when together, and sizes that look good together.

.99ct Natural Fancy Brownish Yellow/VS1 Cushion Diamond

Round Brilliant Diamond, Loose

SHAPE: Round Brilliant
COLOR: Fancy Brown
CLARITY: VS2
MEASUREMENTS: 6.10 - 6.17 x 4.02 mm
TOTAL DEPTH: 65.9%
FLUORESCENCE: NONE

OK- so the .64ct round is actually in a setting- needs to be updated on the site....

Here's the .97ct the .31ct ( if you want it, we can put your name on that one bloocat, we'll hold it for you) and the .99ct brown- which really looks better in person than it does in the photo

Yes, Please, David.  please hold the little orange baby for me.   N1Please2HL1

How incredibly NOM they all look together.  But I think we're going to have to look for a chameleon or greenish-yellow of some sort after.  As usual, OMC is dead on.  Radiants iz all wrong for this piece, but boy!  that color is kewl.

Thank you, D!  rock I'm going to have to reflect a while on this set.  There is much to consider, but knowing you'll hold the bitty orange for me will keep me from fretting for the next 30 days. Thanx  bighug

BTW: if that RBC brown is the one that was flitting on the desk when I was there - oh God, it was three weeks ago already - it looks between 1 and 2 gazillion times better in person than in photo.

Yes, I do. I think something brownish-greenish-yellow (olive, to mere mortals) would also look nice, though. The greenish yellow is too bright in that company.

Wow. That orange oval looks like a lozenge for sore throats. Yumm-ee!  Cheesy

What about a less fantastical project than a galaxy bracelet?  I saw this one and it's very much my speed, without having to deal with the complexity of the other project, which was probably beyond my capabilities.  Much as I love Awstruck's constellation bracelet, after Li'l Blooo, I know I am not up to snuff in the design arena.  tard

Maybe use my .5 round with some other diamonds, definitely an odd number in a random pattern.  Bangle pictured is 37mm wide with .25 cttw.  Then I could use the 2kk as an enhancer for the SS pearls my DH gave me.

Ah, now that is a beautiful bangle. I love the contrast between the finish on the gold and the brightness of the diamonds. Is the little orange diamond still in the project? It would look stunning in piece like this.

It's really pretty.  It reminds me of something I once saw by Buccellati, one of my favorites!  I think it would be a timeless piece.

Thanks, Mikla, I stole it from a really big name.

... and Miz M, you are reading my mind.  I still want that little orange in the picture.  The .5 RBC is deep, so it doesn't look as large as many might, so I'm thinking it would be just a little bigger than the orange at .31.  and I still like OMC's idea of an olive green or chameleon that could be even a smidge smaller than the orange.  But an oranic shape - round or oval.  Maybe I should switch to the round orange and look for a smidge bigger olive.   Tempted  I just have no clue.  Thank goodness, I'm still in the dream phase. tard

Unfortunately for me, it's going to be a long row to hoe before I can get the little orange - after Christmas, for sure, if it's still available.  and long time beyond that before I can have D look for an olive or start saving for the gold and labor.  Darn this economy anyway!
