David- If it's a band, can it go up or down one half size?
Like 6 to 6.5, or 6 to 5.5?

Wow...all of those ideas sound great!  I have to admit that I have become addicted to collecting different bands to switch out with my differnt solitaires.  I have a yellow band, but would love a pink for sure Smiley  Soooo many ideas and so little $$$ Embarrassed

(Going back and looking at that I realize how spoiled I am...)

HI Everybody,
The small blue diamonds I've seen really could not broadcast the color well- plus there's no such thing as "blue gold" to help the color

Brownish yellow? Might be possible- I can look into that one.
Streching 1/2 size might be possible- and I suppose we could put some gold balls in to make them a bit smaller..still, pink is not really sizable well.

All kidding aside, pink bands would be fabulous! Would you make eternity bands or 5-7 stone rings?  And could you find enough stones for all of us?  Approximately what would they run as you do not have any bands in your store?

Docram

HI Docram,
We can supply enough pinks to make bands for all...
As far as the details, like 5 or 7 stone...we can make each one to order.

We can use brownish pinks which look great.
As far as cost, the range can be huge.
If we're using small stone of .03 or so, we'd probably start at around $800 for a 5 stone band.

If we were using .10 each, pure pink the price could easily soar into the $7000 range.

If you have an idea, please let us know what it is, and we'll explore it!

We can pick the diamonds and see what we're talking about......

Having own the brownish pink diamonds, to my untrained eye, they look pretty darn pink and to be honest, I think that makes the pink pop!!

I'd say .03 - .05 would be a great dainty look (like the ritani 2 mm bands).  I'd be up for that!!! The white 7 stone band I just got from DBL is great and has a lot of punch but it's probably... 2.5-2.7 mm so a bit thicker.  I guess it depends what you're looking at....

Hmmmmm mus be good!

And yes, a blue halo around, say, a white diamond or blue?! KILLER!!!

I would love to have a pink band too!   David is  that still possible in Rose gold?  If not,  do you think the pinks will still look pink in White gold?  I love the shared prong style ....with one prong in between!  Those are gorgeous! ~Ronda

Do we think that the brownish pinks would still look good if set in white gold, especially if they are going to be worn next to a white e-ring?  I personally know that my finger size has change significantly over the years and will continue to and I would prefer not to buy something that could not be sized eventually.  JMHO.

I could see myself collecting bands in all colors like Snooper's Ritani (2mm, right?), that leave a small space on the bottom for sizing.

I am curious if the pink/brown diamonds would still appear pink in white metal too? Or do they need to be set into rose gold to bring the pink color out? I love rose gold accents, but wouldn't want the whole ring to be rose gold. Or how about setting one pink diamond, one colorless, one pink, one colorless, etc, etc. Then could you see the pink color better....still in a platinum ring though?

Just saw that one of the big "jewelers to the stars" here in LA is starting to push a variety of colored micropave diamond bands.  They will probably cost like $40,000 for .02 ctw!!!!  David you must make some!!!!!  I would personally want them to be 2mm in size, so what size diamond does that take, .03 each?

I think I am out of the buyers seat for many moons, but my next purchase will be 3 bands - one with fancy brownish yellows, one with fancy brownish pinks and one with whites!!!!

I think bands would be a wonderful idea in all the colors - but I'm thinking David is going to have to fill us in as to what is possible.  It may be that some of the more unique colored diamonds aren't available in melee or the color can't be captured in such tiny stones.

Personally, I absolutely would like a white gold diamond eternity band to match my asscher halo.  ABSOLUTELY.  Bead set diamonds all the way around with milgrain - exactly like the shank.  David, if it's possible, just tell me how much and the check will be in the mail!

GOOD QUESTION.
To find out, we're setting up a 14karat white gold diamond circle, set with our Brownish Pink .01 diamonds.

We're also doing a teensie weensie really cute cirle of 19 one point diamonds in pink gold/brownish pink diamonds to compare it to.......

Now I am?

OK- let's see!

YES, YES- we can do the all the way around- or partway around band to match the halo rings.

Look the the shank on this guy....

This could be done in the white/white,
or white gold pink diamond combo.
As far as the white/pink alternating....I'm going to wait till we see how the white gold circle looks.
