Oh my, oh my, oh my!  This darling finally arrived in my mailbox today (USPS tortured me for 12 long days!).  She is a 1.72ct orangy brown asscher set in a white gold halo.  It is absolutely stunning!  I just couldn't be happier with it!  I can't think of anything I could've done to improve it - and that's saying something for Miss Picky here........

The style and workmanship is simply impeccable.  My hat's off to you David (& Marc who is such a sweetheart too)!  You just couldn't have set this stone any better than this.  I have no doubt now as to how I will reset my original ER diamond - it's going in one of your halos!

This ring is one of the most beautiful pieces of jewelry I have ever seen - and it's all mine!

By the way, if you are having issues uploading photos, there is a 500 by 500 pixel limit. I forgot the kb limit. But if it doesn't upload it's to kb big or too big as in too wide and/or too tall.

LOL!  Sun?!?!?  It's January in Holland!!!!  I'm going to try to get some more shots tomorrow in daylight but I ain't holding my breath for sun!  Watch this space though.......

Thanks for all the compliments girls - I am very much smitten with my new sparkly.  Yes Ronda, this was so worth getting in trouble with DH - so worth it!  He won't see it until Friday.  I'll keep you posted on what he says.....

Absolutely EMJ - let me see what I can set up.

Here's a few more pics.  The other ring is my 3.65ct W-X radiant - can you believe that the asscher is showing it up!!!  I am stunned!  Trust me girls, I love my radiant ring but it's amazing how this 1.72ct brown asscher is really holding it's own.

Did I mention that the workmanship is just incredible?!

Oh boy have I got a funny story to tell you!

After I picked my kids up from school, I took them over to the Burger King on post for a bite to eat.  They have swimming classes on Wednesdays and it’s not worth taking them home.  So I go to the counter to order my food and I know the guy behind the counter pretty well.  Anyway, as he’s putting my food on the tray, he catches sight of my ER.

“What the……..holy smoke……..you’ve gotta be ki…….look at that……dang girl!  That’s some rock!  You must be well loved!”

So I’m like, “Yup!  Check out this one that I got yesterday……” and I put my right hand up alongside my left.  From that moment on the conversation was over – he couldn’t finish a sentence to save his life!  It went something like this:

“JESUS!  You can’t be………..your husband must……..WOW……..I can’t belie……beautiful…….seriously, how…….DAMN!.........look at that…….what the………..”  He even yelled for his colleague saying, “Rocks!  Look at her rocks!”  That was the most coherent sentence he could muster! 

This chuntering went on for a few minutes.  I could still hear him waffling away to himself after I sat down!  I have never seen jewelry render someone pretty much speechless before!  Made my day!


EMJ: I took some pics with peach roses but this is the only one that turned out good - I will take some more though......
