Wasn't sure if I should post this in chit chat or here.. But this question is pertaining to my DBL studs in particular as that's all I own, but also in general... Do push backs and la pousette backs ever "give out"? I take my earrings out every night in fear that I'll bend a post or something! Will they ever "loosen up"? Currently they're like a brick! They're not going anywhere!!! but just wondering. or anyone!!!

I have a problem with earrings falling forward, Do these La Pousette backs stop this? Joia
When I bought my DBL studs from Carathead, she'd had them reset to three-prong settings with these kinds of backs. I love them, as they are very secure. (I didn't know what they were called, though!) I don't think that they will prevent earrings from dipping forward, though. I have some heavy post earrings made by a Texas gold and silver craftsman-type company, and they have larger-diameter, heavier backs on them. The idea is that with a heavier earring, the larger back will balance the weight. It seems to work... --Robin
