here it is Mrs M.... it's called the Mach II. kind of a masculine name, but the reason for this is, I named it after my brother's mustang Mach I. when he bought it, it was a totally frivolous purchase. and so was my new FY pear DBL creation.... thus the name. My brother gets a huge kick out of the name. besides Princess Di is to obvious and HRH is already taken

Ex-cu-se me! That is not frivolous. It is gorgeous, curvaceous and fabulous. It is also something that requires little maintenance, is not taxed, does not pollute the environment, and may even appreciate in value.

Don't ever think like that please.  I know as a part of a family who struggled not to long ago, I wouldn't want others to stop doing things that make them happy.  Granted we didn't really have to worry about if a mortgage could be paid or anything like that, but I never begrudged anything wonderful for friends or family.

Though I understand how you feel.  I still feel guilty for my new pretty ray of sunshine.  But it makes me happy and my husband knows it too, so we love it and think it is worth it.

OMC I love how you said it is like a car.  I love my cars too (can't wait to get a little 2 seater when my DS is old enough).  I only happy with my mom-mobile because it has my other love... lots of gadgets to play with

As far as your stone, I wouldn't bother sending it to GIA for an opinion.  I would send it back to the vendor for refund!  If you were told no enhancement and a lab report says there is, something is off.

I know that some new sparklies have been lucky enough to find homes with CDIers recently, so if anyone would like to update their total, post here and I'll amend the list.

Newbies are welcome to play! It's a list that was started by DiamondJunkie a few years back, in the first days of CDI. When she got busy, I took up the baton!

It's just for fun, and occasionally we'd have little mini-contests- guessing who will buy the item that takes the total to X carats / what date will the total hit Y carats etc...

I totally forgot!  I won't count the diamond David reset for me because 1) it was a vintage piece that I had before and 2) I have no clue the carat weight LOL

But I have the pretty earrings if you want to count those.  Which I do because the bitty diamonds are so sparkly. 

So add in .59 to mine for a total of 1.52

I hope to add more in later this year (much later )
