My friend and I were just discussing black diamonds tonight, so I had to look up this thread.  She's thinking of getting a band of black diamonds (very small) and stacking it with some white diamond bands.  I think the look will be a "classic modern." 

I've seen some really nice black diamonds in person, and they do have a "sparkle" of sorts about them.   Here are a couple of neat black diamond bands I've seen in person.  I like them.
