They are pretty, aren't they! I still love the coffee halo studs best of all, I dream of them. These might tide me over for the three or four decades it would take me to save for them! I love, love, love my DBL emerald cut studs. The only diamonds I've ever had that don't suffer from shrinkage, for some reason.

I like these earrings, although I would have preferred a pink gold setting.  Great price, though!

Yes. One day, I would like to have my white EC studs set like this. Such a beautiful pair of earrings.

EH?  Not guilty, it wasn't me that posted the pics of the earrings!  I take it you mean the brown halo ones?  I really like those.

Brown diamonds... I just LOVE them!!

David - quick question - why did you decide to set these earrings in white gold rather than rose gold?! Just curious... Smiley Anything to do with the shade of brown?!

Good question brownie!

Actually, this pair has been "un-paired- we changed one to a ring- trying to decide what to do with the other

I guess we felt the stones had so much depth of color that white gold would pick them up- which do you like better?
White or rose?

The other should be a pendant I think. Set EW with a fixed chain. That would be niiiiiice!

I agree with Pinklady... A pendant would be nice!!

I guess I should have been more specific... I was referring to R2941 when I asked the question about white gold vs. rose gold.

The set that you are referring to, I LOVE!!! And wouldn't change a thing about them... White gold was definitely the way to go with these babies. Smiley The rich coffee color is stunning next to the white gold/white diamonds.

I like rings all in one colour, so this is perfect for me! I loved that stone and halo when it was an earring and I love it as a ring, too. I'd say pendant for the other one, but I'd go N-S so it was more matchy with the ring - I see these as a set (for me....please let me find highly paid work soon).  Grin

I've been lucky enough to have seen this piece as one of a pair of earrings and, just the other day, as a ring. Although I was disappointed that the original pair of earrings was split (they were lovely and should have sold long ago), I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the new ring. I hope to be writing more about it in the Trinkette Visits thread later today.

For me, the obvious choice is to keep the other in her present setting and transform into a matching pendant.

However, that being said, I'd like to see the other brown EC un-seated from her mounting (wasteful, I know) and mounted into a rose gold setting as a ring.  No surprise: I love browns AND rose gold AND rings. *YAWN* I am SO predictable. Evil
