Hey everyone!
Since we work so closely with a few very important cutter they offer us opportunities, and we for them.
I can see that this stone- complete with a lot of shcmeck- is still really cool.
Anyway, here's DJ's take on it.

I've got to chime in here.

This one blew me away yesterday morning.  I did not expect it to look anything like it does.  It's a heck of a stone for an I2!!!

I do say all this in the auction but I also must point out that I don't tell porkers in my ads - I can't make stuff up to save my life!  I write what I really think and feel.  I thought this one was going to be so hard to write about but I enjoyed writing this one more than the other higher graded diamond David sent me!!!

Seriously: imagine setting this in David's diamond studded shank - you would have a ring that's TO DIE FOR all for around $3k!!

It really is remarkable and I will probably visit the auction repeatedly just because I'm still in a little denial with the I2 thing!  Can you tell I'm a bit of a fan of this stone!?

As always, great write up DJ!!! I too am curious how yellow this will look after being set.

As far as I2 goes? I'm not a pro by all means, but it looks pretty darn good! In fact, it's probably what most maul jewelers would call a "SI".  For that price and that SIZE?!? Lovin' it! Roll Eyes

Great write-up DJ! I have a question though, are those some carbon spots in the center of the stone?

It's an I2!!! I never would have believed it! It does have amazing sparkle!

That price is KILLER!

I'm sure somebody will snatch this up quick!

I've never seen an O-P color diamond before. Can we see pictures of it against a white background, maybe between a really white diamond and one say in the U-V range?

LOL!!!  Man I wish Rhonda!  When I say "sent" I mean electronically via email!  One day I will take up at least 12 hours of David's time, drooling and slobbering llike a teenage boy at a cheerleader convention.....

I was reading the Ebay listing the other day.   I really enjoyed your write up DJ!   Who would complain to have a nice sized diamond ring for under 3k....That is the nicest I2 that I have ever seen.   Most SI2's I have seen don't look that nice!  ~Ronda

Jewellk, your wish is my command.....click here for a movie.

The eBay pages last 10 days- if the item is still available- as this one- there will be a tab on top saying that "this item has been re-listed"
Here's the current eBay page.

Good to know about how the listings sync with these postings.

BTW, love that you made the movies a little longer!!  Easier to really see each item.

David definitely has an eye for the I clarity stones.  I wouldn't hesitate to buy one from him.  My sisters earrings were I stones and you would never have known it.

Please keep us posted!  That really is a pretty diamond.

And, my DH doesn't always do the romantic things that I would like for him too so I totally understand.  But, at the end of the day I remind myself that I do love him Smiley  And, he does surprise me every once in a while with something I wasn't expecting.  So, I think that I might keep him a little longer...

And, I am totally with you...buy your own diamonds! Grin
