Ok - I already use Picasa to "manage" my digital photos, which reside on my computer.  They do offer "web albums,"  which I assume is "web based"  storage.  Is this similar or the same as Photobucket?  Does anyone know?   

Ack!  Sorry to hear that AZ.  I've never used photobucket, so I can't help, but I hope someone can.

AZ I use Photobucket all the time.  There's a customer service that you can email and they'll help you - I'm pretty sure it's in the Help section.  It's virtually impossible to delete all your photos (unless you were managing your account and deleted that or ticked all and then pressed delete).  Having said that, Photobucket don't backup so if you have deleted your pictures then they may not be able to retrieve them.  Try emailing them and I'm sure they'll help.  I had a response within about 30 minutes when I had a problem.

Oh no AZ that just stinks.     I guess we all need to make sure we have back-ups of our pics because it can all be gone in a couple of clicks.  So sorry it's all gone.     Do you think there is anything in the threads that you can save or did you link it all from photobucket?

I am sorry to hear about this.  I use Picasa but every few weeks I make a CD, I don´t use their backup but make a gift CD which separates everything nicely.  It is such a shame when you lose precious stuff.

Can any one tell me whether and how you can edit a slide show. I recently did one and the person sent additional photos to add to the show and I can't find where in photobucket to edit the darn thing. I can just make a new one but it seems like there would be a place to edit and I've just missed it.
