Just another idea to throw into the mix - what about a lucida setting? I have an ec e-ring and I love the simplicty of its solitaire setting. Maybe the lucida would up the impact a little, whilst being a little bit more delicate than the current setting and letting the EC shine as the star of the show?

Just a thought - whatever you do is going to be stunning, because that is a beautiful stone!

I love the idea of a new setting, but I have to remember that even tho my EC is a one carat size, I have to be careful that it doesn't get lost in a fancy schmancy setting. The proportions would have to be more "delicate" so the center stone would still stand out. But I do love that style so much!!
