...mmmmmm... just playing a bit......

I'm toying with resetting my 1.01 E EC into one of Davids mountings using bullet sides... maybe??  Nothing too expensive right now.. but that will add a little bling.

I was playing in photoshop and did these two pictures (not my diamond), but tried to get the proportions right.. I dunno if they are though??  Roll Eyes

Do you like the look of these? dontknow

Here's a pic of my EC. I think it's narrower than the ones in the sample pics. ??
Maybe not ?? It's hard to tell what it would look like with those settings.

Yes, I've wanted bullets f o r e v e r !!!

I'm trying to find a couple pictures I had of my most recent "dream" setting. Basically, it was like those pics above.. it had an ec center with bullet sides but the shank was all engraved. It was soooooo cool! But the pics are lost on my other computer (which is dead right now).

But when I get them, I'll post them.

Oh, I probably won't do anything about it right now.. maybe in May for my anniversary?

Really, I'm just thinking out loud about it.

So........ here is THE dream setting I really like!  I think if one of the DBL mountings could be engraved, then it would look very close!

I love the setting with the bullets Rhonda, but I also love the one you currently have.  I think you win either way.

I love the bullets, you have a great emerald cut, and I think the bullets would bring out the sparkle more, right now, the emerald looks a little overwhelmed by the setting IMHO

What a great idea Rhonda!!!

I love the look of your EC with the bullet sides! They go together very well! And you just can't beat having more sparkle on your hand!!!

I love the engraving too.....but I'm sure that would drive the price up quite a bit.

Would you still wear your anniversary band with this ring, if you have it done?

Good question Amy.  Hmm.. I don't know. Probably wouldn't look right with a vintage engraved mounting and a modern channel band huh?  I dunno...........sigh...........I just LOVE that mounting!

You know how smitten I was over that setting!!  I kept it in my pictures file!    I love the first setting too..............I love the way the sides "dovetail"!   (where it curves up to the bullet sidestones)   That design on a three stone setting is one of my favorite styles.   In fact,  when I was having my setting made for my cushion/pear ring....I so hoped it "dovetailed" more than it does. Embarrassed     If you don't do any engraving, that first setting will be perfect with your anniversary band.   Ooooor  you could get a really cool EC diamond band to go with it!!  hehehehe! OH Thanks for that picture David. It's BEAUTIFUL!!

What happened to WM's reply about the engraving???

She had questioned whether the engraving could be done on platinum only, or also on white gold?? Can it be done on either?

Hi Everyone!
Sorry about the confusion- I needed to check with the factory to get the answers correct.
1) Hand engraving adds $1200 to the cost of any ring
2) We can do the hand engraving on Platinum, or gold ( 14 or 18kt)

Those prongs work beautifully with engraving, too.
