Hi Stephanie.  Welcome to the fun house!  I don't know of DBL doing any such setting in rose gold, but the best way to ask David is...

david have you ever done a Lucida setting in rose gold, or is it even possible?

Thanks so much for the speedy reply!

Second question, then: what is the smallest size diamond (round or radiant) that can be set in the underwire solitaire? Would .25-30 be too small?

No problem Stephanie!

I think a .25 or .30 would be fine in such a setting!
We have a few new rounds in the W-X range....what shade were you thinking of?

I am very open to different shades/color families. For example, R3293 and R3285 are two I have been looking at. I do not necessarily have to have a round, though...many moons (and one bad marriage) ago, I had one of your Y-Z radiants, and love that shape, too. I'd be interested in anything that keeps me at or under the price range of that yellow round + solitaire setting...this is a budget anniversary gift  angel

David,

I very much like the looks of the second (W-X) diamond! I would love to know if you have any other smallish beauties lying around, but I will give this one serious consideration  Grin

What would the timeframe be on getting it set?

Okay, I will be thinking about it!

For further discussion or questions, is it better for me to call, or e-mail?

A phone call is a lot more immediate- and may be better for discussing details.
Generally if we decide on something over the phone, I'll send a confirmation email

Wonderful...I will be in touch. If you have any other stones that you think may fit the bill, I'd love to see them here, or via email.

Oh yes...I have looked at that beauty more than once. Far too much for me to spend, as things stand now, but I can dream!

Hello! I have a rose gold underwire setting, with a white oval. I absolutely love it. I'm not kidding, people have tried to buy it from me at meetings and when I was in law school. It's a wonderful setting and the rose gold is a soft, lovely colour without too much copper or any brassy tones. I can't say enough good things about my DBL rose gold!

Here are a few pics, to give you an idea of how it looks on a hand (I have very pale skin indeed, so results may vary. Cheesy)

I decided to go with R3833, set in the rose gold underwire...I just got off the phone with David  Cheesy Mrs. Mitchell, THANK YOU for the pictures here - they totally confirmed my choice to go with rose gold. I have no idea what this little round will look like set in that color gold, but I am excited to learn!

I knew that those little rounds wouldn't last long, but dang that was quick for both!

What a wonderful choice there.  I hope you come and post photos once you receive the ring!

I'm thinking of family or mother's ring ideas and one I have is a pink ring just like this underwire with a coppery colored stone.  I haven't decided for sure what I ant but I so love this rose gold!

Yes, it was fast! I checked DBL's site on my lunch break at work today to see if any new shiny things had come up, only to see that the round I was considering was SOLD. I called David as soon as I got home to make sure that the other didn't sneak out from under my nose.

Of course I will return to post pictures...I know very few people who are "into" jewelry at all, so having this haven is wonderful  Smiley

Pinky:

David said, "I don't know WHAT color it will look like once it's set!" I agree...hard to tell, but how could it fail to be beautiful? And I like different stuff, anyway Smiley

I hear you on not having enough friends in RL to share the gem stuff with.  I like having this place to share!

I bet that stone will have some neat tones once set.  It'll be cool to see what it looks like color wise!
