HI Everyone!
We have started this section to handle subjects specific to Diamonds by Lauren.
This section will handle specific questions about DBL. The company and merchandise.
Lauren is my daugher- the company website is named after her.

This section is the place we'll showcase new products as we develop and manufacture them.

For example, we have a new U-V heart shape.

She'a a chubby bubbly heart- he color faint. at 4.07carats, she's quite sizable.
Anyway, we have a pair of Fancy Light Yellow heart shapes- 2.07 total weight

How about this: we make a thin yellow gold bezel for the big faint yellow- than have the 2.07 stones in wire baskets suspending the 4.07- a tri heart necklace. Over 6 carat total weight....

What do you guys think?

Oh, David...now you are REALLY thinking out of the box!  Or shall I say, out of the diamond paper.

That sounds ASTOUNDING...please do it...you know it will be a STUNNER.  And I like that cute chubby heart.  Chubby is good...on diamonds.

I may just not be a good visualizer, but I am trouble figuring out what this would look like.  Do you mean that the big yellow would be at the end of a fixed chain, and then the two others would hang down separately?  Or do you mean they would hang three in a row straight down?

Do you think either of these styles would work with those stones?

Hey Guys- my concept is similar to the one above.
The three rounds in  lion's shot are bezel set.
I'm thinking bezel on the large one, and prongs on the two "support hearts"...what do you  guys think?

I'll arrange the stones and take a few photos in a little but......

First off, we'll set the center like this one:

I'm thinking prong setting for the 2.07 total weight hearts- they are a much deep er shade anyway.
it will be a "two tone yellow" piece.
The first arrangement puts them too close to the center ( I keep thinking "I'm going to Disneyland!")

Put a little space between them and now it's starting to look pretty nice....

I am not a big heart fan, but I do think that would be a stunning arrangement!

I love that bezel set heart BTW David!!!!  I cannot wait to see how this ends up Smiley

I LOVE all the new hearts (well, you know I love ALL hearts) posted, but I really love the new chubby U-V!!!!!

For some reason, I don't like the Mickey Mouse ears (sorry). I think it'd look better if all the apexes (points) were facing down, the same direction. I don't care for them pointing up.

Or even just set the U-V in a bezel alone.......it's so large, it would look FABULOUS even by itself!

My 2 cents.

I agree with Amy.  I love the bezel set heart pendant above (infact, I just saved that pic for future reference!) but I'm not won over on the three hearts together.  I would love to see that huge U-V heart set on it's own and the smaller hearts into earrings.  They would look beautiful suspended from wires with maybe a small bezel set white RB between the heart and the wire.  Those would seriously tempt me!

"The first arrangement puts them too close to the center ( I keep thinking "I'm going to Disneyland!")" - DBL

I really need to stop checking this forum on my cell phone while in public.  Laughing out loud while staring at your phone but not talking on it seems to be frowned upon.

That said, I agree with F&S that if you make this with all three the tips should all point in the same direction. I love it in theory.  My only concern is whether they would all keep flipping around.  Is there a way to set it so this does not happen?

LOL, David - that first picture is so funny!

I'm not completely in love with multiple hearts, but if I were to set it, I'd do it vertically.  I like the tips all pointing down.  I also think I'd like it better if the smaller hearts were white, if you have to do all hearts.  The large heart needs to be the focal point, IMHO.

I'm curious... David was there a reason why you had posted the side hearts with the points facing up instead of down? Would it be hard to set the diamonds with the points down?   Huh?

Hey SNoop- It just seemed to make the most design sense that way- we could set them either way.......

Thought i'd chuck my .02c into the mix about the Mickey Ears.....i've got to say.....they remind me of someting kinda evil.......sort of a devil face....which is just wrong, because Mickey isn't evil!

I liked DJ's idead...can the hearts not be earrings with the big heart as a pendant?  Or what about making the small hearts into dangles..you know, the removable dangly bit....

They could

So the consensus is to simplify the pendant?

I think it would be my vote. I think the large heart is good on its own.

You could also have some little bezel set white diamonds on the chain like on the pink pear pendant.

I've always liked this
http://rockdiamond.com/index.php?crn=227&rn=532&action=show_detail

That could work for either earrings for that heart pair, or for a single heart necklace. I think this one would lay nicely on the neck.

I guess if I had the funds (as I would probably want to buy it!) I would like the two side hearts to have their point downward.... Another idea is how about some small diamonds (RB) between the main heart and sides like the diamonds by the yard concept?

Like (L-R)
RB, Small heart w/ point down, RB, BIG HEART, RB, Small heart w/ point down, RB???

To break it up a bit???
