Uh-oh.  And I have a plan.  Now, I have to figure out how to fund the purchase of the center stone (assuming that no one else nabs it first)...  1087

I REALLY can't wait to see what T has brewing!!

btw...I read something the other day about chocolate gold. Not candy but a beautiful dark brown chocolate color of gold!! It was gorgeous! If I remember correctly it was rose gold that was subjected to some sort of treatment that made it brown and it wouldn't scratch off. I remember thinking at the time how beautiful a chocolate brown halo with brown melee would be around an icy white center stone....

I have never heard of this...BR please post pics! Does the color treatment make the gold more brittle in any way?

Well I bought both pairs of the hoops. BUT they are for my moms birthday! So one pair is already with dad he purchased the smaller ones for her. I have the 2 inch here, so I'll go snag a pic, be right back!  Exit-Stage-Right

Here's a few shots of the new brown rounds in .12-.15ct sizes- we can get these in smaller sizes for micro-setting.....

It sounds like Brown Gold ain't happenin' just yet for us.
It would require we make a whole lot of brown stuff at one time... it's not like we could just make 10 rings, we'd need to make a few hundred.

As far as carrying the brown rounds- SURE!

We can make a few brown diamond yellow or white gold bands....

A brown band sounds like it could be fantastic!

 david

Could these be made into wee little studs similar to the small pink ones which were made for some of the ladies?

Last year I saw a catalog with lots of tiny browns pave set into an oxidized gold setting.  That was pretty cool, and I almost got it to go with my FBY, but didn't in the end.  I think brown bands in yellow gold would be awesome!
