Squigs, I feel your pain! I often cook dinner with a determined, yowling toddler clamped firmly to my shin Wink Mind you, those are the nights I don't make anything terribly involved Wink

What about cooking the toddler? They are quite tender, and easy to prepare, I think.

On a totally unrelated note, does anyone have a large stockpot with a lid that I could borrow?  Smiley

LOL

Funny we say that about the cats too Wink

I love to cook and he's a help there.  Right now he's fighting me to type something on my tablet and "whining" because I said no.

Maybe I should make him happy once....

I have an 8 and a 12 qt stock pot.  Is that good enough?  If not I could get my dad's 20 qt Wink

Better - more tender still.

I have a 25 litres (27 qtr) pot that I use when I make fish soup for 10+ people, if anyone wants to borrow it. But it's in Switzerland.

I love fish soup!  And I love large dogs!!  And I love children!!!  So, next time I am visiting family friends in France, I'll look into taking a train to see you guys!  It would be nice to see the Coyote cubs (and the Mr and Mrs. too).  Maybe my Italian will be better by then...(unfortunately, not).

ACK! For a day now, I've had this image of a "tender toddler" in a pot on the stove.

I can't get this out of my head.
