It does look like rose gold in the photo, doesn't it?  I think it is the reflection of his reddish shirt though, because it is white gold.  Rose gold would look awesome!

In the second pic, on the right side of the ring, is that a gap between the shank and the head?  Is it just made that way?

I know it looks like a gap, but it's just an optical illusion....

I thought that too when I first looked, but I think it's a reflection (and I think my eyes are getting old too...) Wink

Rose gold!  The more I think about it, the more I like the idea.  I may just have to try a rose gold piece someday!

I can't say enough good things about my DBL rose gold ring. It's about three years old now, and the colour is still bright and attractive. Can't say the same for some cheap rose gold studs I got locally the year before - they've gone a horrible brassy colour.

Rose gold needs to be done by an expert, I suspect.

I looked at some rose gold "toned" fashion jewelry at Belk yesterday.  I was curious to see what it would look like against my pale skin.  I actually liked the look on me.

Yes, Jen, I do think the rose gold would need to be done by someone who knows their stuff.  I wonder if rose gold would tend to turn your finger dark when it spins, like some yellow gold does to me.  That's one of the reasons I switched to white gold...

Oooh, look at R2886---  Three stone emerald cut---  Those are really nice-looking diamonds.  It also has the underwire setting...

My cheap RG studs turned my earlobes green. My DBL ring doesn't leave a mark!

Non-uniform alloy leaching copper. Also happens when the goldsmith is not particularly capable and overheats the piece, causing the copper in the alloy to come to the surface. Compounded by some people having a more-acidic-than-usual skin pH. Aren't you lucky? Grin

Well, they were around £15, if I recall correctly. You get what you pay for, for sure!

When I was a kid, I had a copper ring, it didn't make me as green as these cheap studs. Thank heavens for DBL rose gold - I'm a huge fan. I'd love to have my EC studs re-set in pink halos with rose gold.

If I was a bigger fan of RB stones I probably would've bought that one instead of earrings.  I think if David would do a cushion version of this one in all rose gold with Lucida style underwire I'd be in heaven.

Even still I keep coming back to this one along with a lovely cushion he has listed.

I really want a rose gold and as soon as I decide what kind of ring I want, I'll get one.  Or at least have some of it in rose gold!

I don't own one – yet – however, I've loved the metal of every DBL rose/pink/red gold piece I've had the pleasure to hold. In addition to looking super-rich and sensational, it FEELS marvelous. I am very drawn to it...

Plenty of stuff, and in a Rumfeldesque kind of way I don't even know what I don't know. At Trivial Pursuit the Entertainment and Sports and Leisure (pink and orange) wedges elude me forever...
